This Warsaw apartment is located in Warsaw’s old town (or Stare Miasto), a UNESCO heritage site, and undeniably the most atmospheric pocket of this sprawling city. Located west of the River Vistula and partially walled, it was almost completely rebuilt after WW2 (leading to Warsaw’s nickname as the ‘Phoenix City’) and contains the city’s most renowned sites: St. John’s Cathedral, the Royal Castle and the Citadel.

Warsaw’s old town is dotted with Renaissance and Baroque buildings, full-of-character streets and charming squares, such as Castle Square, which is dominated by a statue of King Sigismund III and Old Town Square (or Rynek Starego) which is possibly the most lovely in all of Warsaw. The Historical Museum and Literature Museum also are both located here.
