This Venice San Marco apartment rental is a very well located holiday apartment just a few steps from San Giovanni e Paolo, Ponte dei Greci and Piazza San Marco. The Venice apartment San Giovanni has been recently restored and is a very spacious and bright apartment roughly 150 sq. meters. This sunny Venice apartment is on the third floor, with windows on two sides of the apartment giving a 180 degree view over the Canal below. There are also balconies (Venetian terrazzo's) in most rooms. There is a spacious fully equipped kitchen with microwaves oven & refrigerator. The master bedroom is a double bedroom Venetian style, with a double bed, a wardrobe with windows overlooking the Canal. The second is a double bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and balcony overlooking the Canal and the third bedroom comes with twin beds, wardrobe and a skylight. The two bathrooms consist of one with a "tub" and the other with a stand up shower.

This Venice San Marco rental is close to Saint Marks Square which is the centre of Venice and the city’s main tourist magnet. Piazza San Marco, better known as St. Mark's Square to all those English speaking nationalities and it was “dubbed” by Napoleon as "the finest drawing room in Europe.  would recommend this apartment and would stay again, stayed with 3 couples for 3 nights in October 09, who are all seasoned mini city break travellers. apartment was very clean, spacious with ample room and plenty of towels for the 6 of us, the 2 double bedrooms are a good size though the 3rd bedroom has no window or view and smaller, but this is pointed out by holiday velvet so was no surprise, only criticism of the apartment is the shower in 2nd bathroom has very low water pressure and cubicle is very small and confined. location is definitely within walking distance of St Marks however, you will need a map but locals very friendly and eager to help with directions as we discovered on our arrival when trying to find the apartment!. make sure you purchase the tourist tickets for the water buses that last for different lengths of time, this is a real money saver but don't forget to validate them! MR AND MRS A SMITH (20-10-2009) We had a fantastic time in Venice.The apartment, San Geovanni exceeded our expectations, more than ample in size for 3 adult couples, very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was excellent if self catering. We have a few critisisms but they are meant to be consructive,found it difficult to locate as the directions were not too clear, only 5 lounge chairs for 6 people, no fire extinguishers or an emergency exit, no emercency service contact numbers and no tourist information literature. We would have no hestitation in recommending San Geovanni, this was the first time we had used Holiday Velvet and as we have a European City break every year have no hesitation in using you again. More than 70 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 70 days prior warning, 30% of the total rental is required
Within 69-35 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 69-35 days of the rental period, the Client will be liable for the amount of 40% of the total rental price.
Within 34-20 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 34-20 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 70% of the total rental price.
Within 19-10 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 19-10 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 80% of the total rental price.
Within 10 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 10 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 100% of the total rental price.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
