This apartment rental in Venice is a lovely sunny apartment with a fantastic view over Venetian roofs. You are 5 minutes walking from Rialto Bridge and 10 minutes walk from Saint Mark’s Square.

In this Venice apartment there is a double bedroom and a double sofa-bed in the living room so that this Venice apartment can accommodate up to 4 people.

The apartment has wooden-beam ceilings and an open-plan kitchenette in the living room. A perfect romantic retreat.

This apartment rental in Venice is in the Rialto area which is one of the busiest parts of the city. The main draw is obviously the bridge. The Ponte di Rialto [Rialto Bridge] is the true heart of Venice and was built in just three years and has spanned the Grand Canal since the 12th Century. This is the place to sit in one of the open-air cafes drinking hot chocolate while watching many of the gondolas float past. There’s an excellent fish market here and from Tuesday through Saturday you are likely to find some of the most colorful and exciting open-air food market shopping experiences in all of Italy. Not only will you enjoy the views of the colourful facades of various palaces lining the Grand Canal but the Rialto Bridge offers excellent boutique shops selling jewelry, linen, Murano glass and other gifts.

Property was ideally situated, only minutes from the Rialto bridge and market. It was very clean and excellent value (given Venice prices) - would recommend it as a base for two people (who are OK walking up to the third floor!).Only other comment relates to the management of keys and final payment, not the apartment - having to go to an office to pay and collect the keys and then backtrack with luggage was not fun having just arrived in Venice in the heat. I think that a representative of the company should meet clients at the apartment and sort payment/keys etc there, rather than forcing people who have just travelled to make an unnecessary journey - pr at the very least make absolutely clear in the instructions that all this is what is going to happen, so that if there are two or more guests one can stay with the luggage and not have to drag it around from the bus/train station to the office and then back to the canal to get the vaporetto.

Cancellation Policy

More than 70 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 70 days prior warning, 30% of the total rental is required

Within 69-35 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 69-35 days of the rental period, the Client will be liable for the amount of 40% of the total rental price.
Within 34-20 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 34-20 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 70% of the total rental price.
Within 19-10 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 19-10 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 80% of the total rental price.
Within 10 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 10 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 100% of the total rental price.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
