Venice apartment Madonna I is only 100m to the Rialto Bridge on the San Polo side of the Grand Canal. This lively area is full of bustling life including the Rialto markets, small shops “botteghe” and typical small Venetian restaurants.

This is a prestigious Venice apartment, located on the third floor (no elevator) of an elegant palace of Veneziano’s style. Recently renovated and refurbished, the owner has incorporated modern elegant furniture into the original structure of the palace including wooden beamed ceilings throughout.

The apartment is composed of a spacious and bright living and dining room that contains a small breakfast table, a large double sofa bed and the TV. The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave oven, cooker, fridge and many other kitchen ammenities.

The large bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the bathroom comes with a shower. There is air-conditioning and independent central heating throughout.

San Polo is East of the Rialto Bridge over the other side of the Grand Canal. It’s the second most important area of the city in terms of historical importance in Venice. Here you’ll find the Frari Church, an excellent example of Venetian Gothic architecture, the Scuola Grande di S.Rocco, 16th century Renaissance building containing works by Tintoretto and the wonderful Campo San Polo which is one of the largest piazza’s in Venice. You’ll also find many good restaurants hidden away in the back streets that are frequented by the Venetians.
