This huge Venice holiday apartment is situated on the island of Giudecca, not far from the famous Cipriani Hotel. It is just 10 minutes by Vaporetto to Piazza San Marco, but miles from all the crowds.

Giudecca is the 'up coming' area of Venice where property is much in demand, yet it still retains it's village atmosphere and where you will find all amenities from supermarkets, to trattoria, and up 'market restaurants.

This wonderful holiday apartment in Venice is 110m sq and has three twin bedrooms and three bathrooms.

There are two beautiful terraces where you can eat, plus a wonderful Altana, Venetian roof terrace with all garden furniture offering fantastic views. This is a truly luxury apartment where you will find every amenity, from hair dryers in all rooms, quality linen, cutlery, tableware and a well equipped kitchen with modern Utensils.

Much thought has gone into the apartment, from jacuzzi bath to ample wardrobe space and fly screens in every room and naturally air conditioning throughout. There is also a selection of Video Tapes and CD's plus Sky TV.

About Venice Giudecca

This Venice holiday apartment in on Giudecca island which is separated from Venice by a 300 meters wide canal, the Giudecca Canal. The island offers incredible views of Dorsoduro and on the canal luxury passenger liners, vaporettos and other small boats are passing all throughout the day.

Giudecca island is full of many famous churches and ancient monuments. Many venetian and foreign nobles live in Giudecca, amongst them are queen Aspasia and princess Irene Of Greece with her husband Duca d'Aosta. Michelangelo Buonarroti was one of the most famous guests that lived in Giudecca Island. He arrived in Venice in 1500, finding refuge and tranquility in this beautiful and romantic Island of Venice.

There are several shops on the island, including small supermarkets, bakery, butcher, chemist and fishmonger, all cheaper than on the main island. Giudecca Island is the location of the famous Hotel Cipriani and also Harry's Bar Dolce.
