This Venice accommodation has all modern amenities and has been decorated in a traditional Venetian style whilst retaining the original features. The Giudecca short-term rental comprises a living/dining room with a quality single sofa bed fand a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with king sized beds, one bedroom is on the mezzanine level, accessable via a staircase, one bathroom with shower over the bathtub.

Located on the 5th floor in the Molino Stucky, a late 19th century art nouveau grain mill on Giudecca Island in Venice. The complex restoration was completed in 2003, and now offers what is undoubtedly the most comfortable and luxurious apartment rental in Venice with stunning views over the Giudecca Canal.

There are also 6 other apartments in the same palazzo making this an excellent choice for groups traveling together sleeping up to 28 people in the same building.

About Venice Giudecca

Situated on the Giudecca island which is full of many famous churches and ancient monuments, the Venice accommodation is nearby the vaporetto stop Palanca and about a five minute walk to the Residence entrance door, from this stop you can take a vaporetto directly to San Marco Square (10 mins), or to the Zattere (5 mins) to visit the Peggy Guggenheim Museum and the Accademia Bridge.

Many venetian and foreign nobles live in Giudecca, amongst them are queen Aspasia and princess Irene Of Greece with her husband Duca d'Aosta. Michelangelo Buonarroti was one of the most famous guests that lived in Giudecca Island. He arrived in Venice in 1500, finding refuge and tranquility in this beautiful and romantic Island of Venice.

Giudecca Island is the location of the famous Hotel Cipriani, Harry's Bar Dolce is only a 2 minute walk from the Molino Stucky.
