This 128 m2 apartment in Venice situated on the first floor of an elegant building located in a quiet area of the castello neighbourhood. The numerous windows offer a splendid view of the canal and the nearby scuola Dalmata (or San Giorgio degli Schiavoni) hosting the famous cycle of paintings by Carpaccio.

The spacious living/dining room consists of a sofa, 3 armchairs, a chaise-longue and a dining table with 6 chairs. The kitchen is small but functional with a bar with 4 stools looking out on the canal, equipped with 4 gas hobs with suction, fridge and refrigerator and a microwave. The bathroom contains a bath tub, toilet and 2 washbasins. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, a chaise-longue and a lacquered hand-painted wardrobe.

The double bedroom is equipped with two single beds and a table with 2 chairs overlooking the canal. Furthermore there is a storage room with walk-in closet, and a washing machine. The floors throughout the whole apartment are parquet. The many authentic details give the interior a truly Venetian feel.

This apartment in Venice is in a residential area that provides a lot of air and space and St. Mark's square is only a five-minute- walk away.

We loved our stay at Croce di Malta. We found the apartment full of charm and character, and enjoyed the spaciousness of it. It was clean and warm and had the feel of a home, with tasteful paintings and objects. The Castello location provided an opportunity to experience the quieter residential parts of Venice, while at the same time being only a short walk from St Marks Square. We were met by a very helpful young woman at Arsenale water stop as prearranged, and communication was very smooth and without any problems. She introduced us to the apartment and answered general queries about getting about in Venice. We were delighted that we had chosen to stay in this apartment rather than a hotel this time.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed

Within 30 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 30 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 50% of the total rental price.

Within 15 days:In case of cancellation within 15 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 100% of the total rental price.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
