The Venice apartment rental Cannaregio I is part of a large Venice apartment rental that has been completely divided into three holiday apartments. This Venice apartment rental is located minutes from the Jewish Ghetto, walking distance to the Rialto Bridge and close to the vaporetto stop.

This apartment has been completely restored and is perfect for a large group of friends or family. There are two double bedrooms in the holiday apartment, one single bedroom and 3 bathrooms and a separate WC.

In this Venice rental there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Venice.

The large bright living room of the holiday apartment, has a comfortable sofa bed for two and an additional roll away bed that can sleep another person.

This holiday apartment rental is in Venice's Cannaregio, which is north and west of the train station and is typically and authentically Venetian. Being slightly off the tourist track, it’s a quieter part of Venice and has a very charming atmosphere being surrounded by artisan workshops, old fashioned bookbinders and busy local market places. This area of Venice is also convenient to the station and only about a 10-minute waterbus ride from the Rialto Bridge. Cannaregio is also the site of the world’s first ghetto, created for the forced containment of Jews in 1516.

Pros: Great location. Roomy apartment. Good instructions to collect key outside of hours. Price great compared to hotels. I would definitely stay here again.Cons: Instructions given to get vaporetta to apartment but would probably be just as easy to walk to apartment than hassle with luggage on/off vaporetta. Would be good if extra key/s provided as there were four of us we were sometimes in and out at different times. Could not find a cork screw in the apartment. Some light bulbs needed replacing. None of this detracted from our great stay in Venice.

Apartment was clean, spacy, airy, and a wonderful location right next to the ghetto. A longish walk from the agents office to the appartment whilst carrying all of our luggage which was an unexpected hinderance.

Great location - near the train station and in the Ghetto just off the main avenue. Vaporetto convenience is also excellent, though not on the main routes available on the Grand Canal. Picking up the key was a little out of the way but not too terrible. Apartment itself is massive, almost absurdly so, with kitchens and bathrooms everywhere. We had 7 people and it was way too big. Not posh or particularly comfy but clean and gracefully appointed. Lots of windows for excellent natural light, a fact which you'll appreciate in summer when you realize there's no AC and need a breeze. Just open the 86 windows! Not very convenient to St. Mark's Square, a fact which initially concerned us. We later came to view it as a blessing, as we felt insulated somewhat from the insanity of the August tourist crush. The original ghetto "island" is right around the corner. (Very, very cool. Who knew there was a place in Venice for kids to run around? People in the ghetto are so nice too - they seem to be grateful that you've come to see it.) Several excellent shops near the apartment with market goods and sandwiches and the ever-present pizza. We loved Cannaregio. 4 stars instead of 5 because it was pricey and lacked a comfortable area large enough for everyone to gather.

Cancellation Policy

More than 70 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 70 days prior warning, 30% of the total rental is required

Within 69-35 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 69-35 days of the rental period, the Client will be liable for the amount of 40% of the total rental price.
Within 34-20 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 34-20 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 70% of the total rental price.
Within 19-10 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 19-10 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 80% of the total rental price.
Within 10 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 10 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 100% of the total rental price.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
