The holiday apartment in Venice is located in San Polo that is East of the Rialto Bridge over the other side of the Grand Canal. It’s the second most important area of the city in terms of historical importance in Venice. Here you’ll find the Frari Church, an excellent example of Venetian Gothic architecture, the Scuola Grande di S.Rocco, 16th century Renaissance building containing works by Tintoretto and the wonderful Campo San Polo which is one of the largest piazza’s in Venice. You’ll also find many good restaurants hidden away in the back streets that are frequented by the Venetians.

The apartment was roomy and clean and easy to find.We missed a teapot and coffeepot which would have been handy with breakfast in the morning.We had a great stay and would recommend your company to our family and friends.

The apartment was excellent, just as advertised, spacious and clean. The booking agent in Venice was very efficient and helpful and James Burrows at Holiday Velvet was exemplary in his service. The apt. really was quite nice and well located but there are a few things that could be improved:: the seat on the commode was not even bolted on and slipped all over, and the shower floods most of the bathroom. Not sure what you do about the flooding, but supplying twice as many towels so the floor could be wiped up after a shower and the towels used exclusively for the floor would help tremendously. And maybe a mop!

Cancellation Policy

More than 70 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 70 days prior warning, 30% of the total rental is required

Within 69-35 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 69-35 days of the rental period, the Client will be liable for the amount of 40% of the total rental price.
Within 34-20 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 34-20 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 70% of the total rental price.
Within 19-10 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 19-10 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 80% of the total rental price.
Within 10 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 10 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 100% of the total rental price.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
