This wonderful vacation apartment in Venice is located at the end of Calle Lunga San Barnaba. This Venice vacation apartment is in a wonderful area of Venice. You'll be easily reached to every part of Venice and very close to Zattere bank where you'll enjoy wonderful views across the lagoon to Giudecca Island in Venice.

This bright and spacious Venice rental apartment has an independent entrance and looks on to a beautiful and typically Venetian courtyard. The Venice vacation apartment has been recently restored and tastefully furnished.

The ground floor hall of this rental accommodation, where you'll fine the first bathroom with shower, leads up to the first floor, where there is a bright living room with sofa-bed, a kitchen area with all appliances, a double bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub.

The attic of this apartment has been converted into a low, romantic and impressive loft with wooden beams and a skylight over the double bed.

The vacation apartment in Venice is situated in Accademia which is next to Dorsoduro within a triangle of the Accademia Bridge, the Galleria dell'Accademia and the Peggy Guggenheim museum. It’s a beautiful area of Venice where you’ll find many of the best Venetian museums, including The fabulous Academy of Fine Arts (Galleria dell'Accademia) which includes great works from artists including Tintoretto, Titan and Bellini and of course the Collezione Peggy Guggenheim, once the home of the American heiress and is now one of Venice's most popular museums.

Great apartment, very clean and freshly painted.Good facilities and Irene was very helpful. Situated in a very quiet area but near to everything. We would stay there again.

Very nice house in a good area with delightful shops nearby. The downside was the loft bedroom, which was impossible to stand up in fo2 people. Sitting dining room was charming and overlooked a garden (no access). We really enjoyed our stay, we were joined by friends from California, 1st time in Venice for them. Will return!!

Great apartment in great location. We loved how close it was to the major sites, but far enough away from feeling like we were in a tourist trap. We felt like we were in a regular neighborhood. The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable. There was a fruit and vegetable stand around the corner and lots of places to get coffee and pastries. We didn't cook, but enjoyed the kitchen for snacks and beverages. The place was very well equiped with everything we needed and the layout allowed for nice privacy amongst the family. Having two bathrooms was very nice. We also were able to wash clothes and hang them on the clothesline, which is nice after sitting on an airplane for 12 hours. We would highly recommend this apartment and we loved the location.

The property location was great, easy walk to the vaporetti, air conditioning was a blessing, everything was great. Restaurants close by, shopping easy to get to, and check-in staff was helpful and friendly. I would have preferred a shower curtain in the main bathroom, a few extra towels, a telephone for incoming calls, and internet access. But all in all, it was a great property.

This apartment was in a fabulous, non tourist area, with loads of ammenties close by to buy local produce and wine. Great cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. Vaparetto an easy short walk, and the Academia literally around the corner. The apartment was quiet, clean and very pleasant with good facilities. Be warned, the upstairs attic bedroom is very very low! My only minor complaint was housekeeping just needed to check the light bulbs (I think almost 50% were blown) and little things like no toilet paper. Venice is an expensive place to stay, so I cannot really compare prices, but I felt satisified. All in all, a great place to stay, highly recommended. Who wants a touristy hotel, when you can stay in 'real' Venice , relax, stretch out and feel part of it!

Property was in a good clean condition and comfortable . We did not cook but it seemed that all the necessary items were there for those that want to. Central heating was very efficient and kept the flat almost too warm. The ceiling on the upstairs bedroom is low and does not allow one one to stand up straight. Location is excellent between San Basilio and Ca' Rezzonico water bus stops. Restaurants are very adjacent - off San Barnaba square. A bread shop is just across the street and a wine shop is about 4 doors away. The nearest supermarket is next to the San Basilio stop. We had a very enjoyable stay there and would use it again.

Baranaba is a simply furnished, well equipped, very cosy little house in Dorsodoro in which we all felt at home. The area could not be better. It is positioned in a very quiet little street with a view of gardens from the sitting room windows. The baker, the greengrocer, excellent small restaurants and a supermarket are 2 mins walk away and it is wonderfully close to the Academia. There are no bridges to the closest vaporetta stop! The only drawback was the attic bed which was a bit hard and the low height of the attic bedroom roof! Nevertheless, we would all, including my 86 year old mum happily stay there again. Thankyou to the owners and to Holiday Velvet for excellent organisation.

Cancellation Policy

More than 75 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 75 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed

Within 75 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 75 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 20% of the total rental price.

Within 50 days:In case of cancellation within 50 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 75% of the total rental price.
Within 20 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 20 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable 100% of the total rental price.

If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
