This beautiful Venice apartment rental has been fully restored and elegantly furnished. You'll be greeted by high ceilings with wooden beams and plenty light. This apartment rental comprises of: an ample entrance, a large living room with dining room, kitchen, one double bedroom and one bedroom with twin beds. There is a double sofa bed in the living room for the 5th and 6th person.

There is also a Venetian altana offering wonderful views of the Museum of Cà Pesaro and the canal below.

This apartment rental in Venice is located in the Sante Croce area. Santa Croce is in the north-east of the city and here you have Piazzale Roma where the main bus terminal connects Venice to the mainland. Like Dorsoduro, Santa Croce has many narrow streets and little channels and is very close to the main important Venice sights, and is San Polo’s sister sestiere. Probably the least touristy area in Venice it tends not to be as expensive as other areas. In Campo San Giacomo dell’ Orio there are many great bars and one of the best (and most inexpensive) restaurants in Venice, La Zucca.

Spent 3 fantastic nights at the apartment. It was clean, well maintained and Irene was of great assistance. Good value for money and well situated to see Venice. Perfect for travelling with children (we had 4 with us). All in all a wonderful apartment in our favourite European city.

The apt. was very clean and the staff helpful. The altana (i.e. the outside patio) lacked patio furniture which meant we had to create our own furniture setup outside. It would be helpful to have a small book with instructions for running appliances and general information about the apt. In our case we discovered that you could not operate the dishwasher and washing machine at the same time without blowing a fuse. When we needed help the management/owner was very responsive. We would recommend the Altana View and would definitely stay there on a return trip to Venice. Good service and follow up by Holiday Velvet from start to finish!

The property was clean, attractive well equiped. We loved the location. We were able to shop at the fish and green market and cook for ourselves, avoiding the endless pizza and pasta that tends to be the rule in Venice. Also convienient for catching vaporettos. And in walking distance of many great attractions. Wish I was still there! The only minor problem was that the TV remote was broken as was the volume control on the TV. The lady who met us and showed us to the place to promised to rectify this.

If you stay at this property, you'll feel like a true Venetian. It's not a 'holiday apartment' as such, but a normal apartment in a residential area. Pictures, ornaments, knick-knacks and flowers reinforce the feeling of a real home. The property interior is stunning, and immaculately clean. Although the apartment sleeps six, there were only two of us because it's affordable luxury. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge area and well-stocked kitchen made it the sort of place that you could stay for ever in comfort. The lovely Irene met us at the water-bus stop, took us to the apartment and settled us in beautifully. We had her mobile number and her encouragement to contact her if we needed any help. Venice is so small that it really doesn't matter where you stay. Everywhere is only a few water-bus stops from someone lovely. So the location was fine - about 10 minutes' walk (see below...) from the Rialto Bridge. The only downside is, because it's in the middle of a residential area, it's quite difficult to find your way back. We got lost every single time we returned to the apartment - but that could have been just us, of course! I would certainly book this apartment again, and I shall use Holiday Velvet again, without doubt. Their service was exemplary.

The location was fantastic, the apartment absolutely beautiful and very well stocked. Irene was lovely, and sorted out the one problem we had, which was that the pillows for the sofabed were missing. All our family group agreed that staying at the Altana View was brilliant value compared to staying in a hotel, and far more comfortable and convenient.

Cancellation Policy

More than 75 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 75 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed

Within 75 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 75 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 20% of the total rental price.

Within 50 days:In case of cancellation within 50 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 75% of the total rental price.
Within 20 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 20 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable 100% of the total rental price.

If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
