This sunny and independent Venice apartment rental is situated in a quite area and only 15 minutes from Accademia and Saint Mark's Square.

The living room is well furnished, the kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom provides a shower. The two bedrooms sleep two people each, either in a double or a bunk bed and it is possible to put a fifth bed in one of the rooms.

There is a large window in the living room which you can open and feel like sitting on a balcony overlooking the Canal where it meet the lagoon. Because of being situated on the second floor, there will be no problem with acqua alta (high tide).

This Venice apartment rental is on the Giudecca island which is full of many famous churches and ancient monuments. Many venetian and foreign nobles live in Giudecca, amongst them are queen Aspasia and princess Irene Of Greece with her husband Duca d'Aosta. Michelangelo Buonarroti was one of the most famous guests that lived in Giudecca Island. He arrived in Venice in 1500, finding refuge and tranquility in this beautiful and romantic Island of Venice.

There are several shops on the island, including small supermarkets, bakery, butcher, chemist and fishmonger, all cheaper than on the main island. Giudecca Island is the location of the famous Hotel Cipriani and also Harry's Bar Dolce.

Cancellation Policy

More than 70 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 70 days prior warning, 30% of the total rental is required

Within 69-35 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 69-35 days of the rental period, the Client will be liable for the amount of 40% of the total rental price.
Within 34-20 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 34-20 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 70% of the total rental price.
Within 19-10 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 19-10 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 80% of the total rental price.
Within 10 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 10 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 100% of the total rental price.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
