Giudecca apartments are perfect for those who choose to holiday in Venice as they provide the perfect spot for excellent attractions and sights.

Giudecca was originally called the Spinalunga or Long Thorn due to its shape. Historically, Giudecca once contained large palaces and gardens with beautiful, sprawling landscapes. However, that changed when industrialization happened in the 20th century as shipyards and factories were required in order to make certain items for the war effort. The land then changed to accommodate this need and many historical landmarks were lost. After World War II, the landscape changed to accommodate more residential fare. It is now considered to be very holiday-friendly as it contains a dock and many tourist-attractions which add beauty and interest for those who holiday.

Giudecca contains many famous historical landmarks. One of the most popular is the Chiesa del Santissimo Redentore, which is closely related to the Black Plague, which wiped out 30% of the population in late 16th century Italy. This church is considered to be the spiritual center of Giudecca and contains excellent architecture. Another great landmark is the Giudecca 795 Art Gallery. This gallery features art from all over the world and is a great way to see some unique pieces of art. The Cips Club is the perfect romantic dinner spot. It features an excellent panoramic view of St. Mark's Square. Ai Cacciatori is another restaurant which features delicious food at affordable prices. It is geared more towards those who wish for something conventional. It's a fantastic place to eat when you're just looking for some regular food. All of these destinations help to make Giudecca a hub for entertainment, education and beauty and makes it the perfect destination for those on holiday in Venice.
