Vacation Rental Description

Villa is situated on a hill overlooking a medieval castle, built as a fortress in the twelfth century for the Pazzi family and converted into a villa by the Medici family. Both rustic and luxurious, this beautiful villa offers a high standard of comfort and relaxation for up to 14 people. 10.000 olive trees and 60 hectares of grapes surround the villa Castel I Mulini. The villa has private garden and swimming pool. It is a perfect base, where you can experience the relaxed Tuscan country while being close enough to Florence to pop in and explore the city. E-mail us for more information about this spectacular location! From its private parking area, our guests will enter through the garden into the main entrance. On the ground floor they will find a modern, furnished kitchen, dining room and living room with satellite TV. The patio, which is beautiful for outdoor meals, can be accessed directly from the kitchen. There are also two rooms that share a bathroom located on the ground floor. Upstairs guests will have five lovely bedrooms. Each room has either a double or twin beds with a private adjoining bathroom. About Tuscany Near Florence

A tour of the castle and the old wine cellars with wine and olive oil tasting is possible for groups with reservation. The small lake on the estate can be seen and the extensive forest wraps around the edges of the vineyards. We offer our guests a range of activities, from cooking classes to Italian courses, from painting classes to mountain biking. Horse riding either around the practice ring or through the beautiful native forest is another possibility we can arrange. Guests are welcome to wander through the estate, and feast on any of the delicacies they find, such as mushrooms, figs, apples, kiwifruit, nuts or peaches. A regular bus service stops at the castle gate linking this country villa with Pontassieve, Florence and some of the quaint small towns are within easy reach.
