Vacation Rental Description

Spend a fabulous holiday, either a fun filled 4 days or a full week at the country farm "la volpe e l'uva" in the heart of Umbria, very near to Tuscany. Just north of Perugia close to Assisi, Spello, Gubbio, Todi , Orvieto, Siena and Cortona. The farm is surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, olive trees and Etruscan and Medieval history. Raffaella the owner of the farm, is waiting you to offer you an unique holiday opportunity.

Cooking lessons: Learn to cook authentic Italian dishes in an informal and friendly environment where you will learn the passion of the Italian kitchen and have fun doing it. A comprehensive hands-on cookery class given by a teacher who will teach you to make splendid Italian three course lunches covering all the basic Italian cooking techniques. We can vary our menu to suit vegetarian diets and to accommodate food allergies or other restrictions.

Cooking tours : Take day trips to taste extra virgin olive oils, pecorino cheese, Umbrian wines and to visit the some artistic cities in Umbria and Tuscany. For all the tours we will give you car and car driver expert in touristic services.

Groups are kept small and vary between 2 and 6 participants.
We also accept bigger groups (up to 20 person) for cooking experience and tours. If you are interested send me a request

1 DAY COOKING CLASS
It includes:
1 dinner/lunch, 1 cooking lesson of approximately 4 hours each, use of all facilities at the farm.

4 DAY COOKING PROGRAM
It is for people that want to have all the holiday time well planned!
It includes:4 breakfasts, 3 cooking lessons of approximately 4 hours each, 3 lunches, 4 nights accommodations and use of all facilities at the farm, 3 half day excursions (with car and car driver).

7 DAY COOKING PROGRAM
It is for people that want to have during the week cooking classes, day excursions, typical meals but also free time.
It includes:7 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 cooking lessons of approximately 4 hours, 7 nights accommodations and use of all facilities at the farm, 3 half day excursions (with car and car driver).

COOKING VACATION!
It is for people that is interested in the accommodation (4 / 7 nights) and in the cooking lessons.
It includes:3 lunches, 3 cooking lessons of approximately 4 hours each, 4/7 nights accommodations and use of all facilities at the farm.

4/7DAY COOKERY CLASSES FOR CHILDREN
The Program includes 3 COOKERY CLASS for children (with the presence of at least 1 adult). It includes:4/7 nights accomodation , 3 cooking classes for children of approximately 3 hours,3 lunches from cooking lessons.

4-DAY COOKING TOUR IN UMBRIA AND TUSCANY
The program includes: 4 breakfasts,2 cooking lessons of approximately 4 hours;1 dinner,1 lunch, 2 full day excursions (Siena-Montalcino-Pienza e Montepulciano and Arezzo-Anghiari-Sansepolcro), 1 half-day excursion (Assisi),
4 nights accommodations and use of all facilities at the farm.

TOURS in Central Italy - Umbria and Tuscany
The program includes accomodation in the apartments of the farm (minimum stay 3 nights) and possibility to rent half-day and full-day excursions in Umbria and Tuscany.

About Tuscany Umbria

The farmhouse in the beautiful heart of the Umbria valley, near to Tuscany, Italy, sourronded by 10 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and fruit trees.
Six independent apartments have been restored around the ancient stone house, which dates back to the 17th century.
It is only 4km far from the historic centre of Perugia and offers a suggestive view of the Umbrian hills.
The proximity to Perugia, makes the holidays farm's position ideal for visiting other artistic towns in Umbria , such as Assisi, Gubbio, Todi, Orvieto and the Trasimeno lake and towns in Tuscany like Siena, Arezzo and Cortona. There is a lovely swimming pool from which you can enjoy the panoramic view.
