Vacation Rental Description

Woodlands Villa is a luxury Turkey Coast villa set in the mountains around the village of Uzumlu. It's setting is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday and is suitable for those wishing to get away from it all. With stunning scenery and natural surroundings, it offers beautiful walks in the adjoining forest, or is a perfect spot to just unwind by the pool. Uzumlu is a traditional old working village noted for it's locally woven cloth and wines. There are local shops where you can obtain all the necessary provisions, and a number of restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine.

The accommodation is spacious and is furnished to a high standard offering all the comforts of a great get away holiday. The private pool of approximately 49 sq meters, is surrounded by a large sun-bathing area and has fabulous views over the mountains and forest areas. Poolside furniture includes sun loungers, table and umbrellas.

The three double bedrooms each with king size beds, all have their own terraces and en-suite facilities. The fourth double bedroom has a separate shower room and terrace. There is a large fully equipped kitchen/dining (table seating 8), and a comfortable lounge with satellite TV, DVD and CD player. Outside, there is a large partly covered terrace area offering both shade and sun. Terrace furniture includes large dining table, also seating 8 people.

 

About Turkey Coast Other

The lively holiday resort of Fethiye is built around the attractive Fethiye Bay, and is approximately 25km (20 minutes drive) from Uzumlu. It has numerous restaurants and shops, and offers many varied activities. There is a long beach and promenade, a water park, and daily boat trips available. There are many diving schools in the area who offer both day trips and tuition. In the evenings, the town of Fethiye is pleasant and lively and offers a variety of night life. A little further afield, the famous resort of Olu Deniz offers a host of other sports and activites including water sports, paragliding, horse riding etc.

There are a wealth of historical sites and areas to visit, one of which is the ancient city of Cadianda situated only 3 kilometers from the villa as the crow flies.

For those wishing to get out and about, a car is essential.
