Vacation Rental Description

A unique lodge with friendly rustic charm offering quality homestay accommodation at Auckland's infamous Piha Beach, an awesome Ironsand Surf Beach a world away in the lush Waitakere Ranges Regional Park

We offer a range of quality accommodation including shared bunks, private rooms and ensuite bathrooms. All rooms include linen and have outside access to sunny decks and gardens enjoying the awesome view of the valley.

The large open plan living area has the kitchen and lounge with an open fire opening onto a large sunny deck. The well-equipped kitchen has 2 refridgerators/freezers, microwave, 6 gas hobs and oven, dishwasher, all pots, plates, glassware and cutlery.

Spacious bunkroom accommodation with all linen provided including duvet and towel. Ensuite Bathrooms available for some private rooms. Guest laundry is available with washing machine and dryer. Each room has outside access onto it's own deck. Large lounge with couches, TV, VHS, stereo and DVD.

About Surfing Holidays West

Great as an alternative to staying in Auckland City. An excellent location, walking distance to all of Piha and a convenient base for exploring the Regional Park.

Piha is an awesome place full of energy and life. A piece of paradise left in this world of ongoing development. Sometimes the best things in life are free.

There are two surf shops Piha Surf Shop and Lion Rock Surf Shop which both shape and sell surfboards and accessories. Wax, legropes, rental boards and wetsuits are also available. Piha Beachstay also hires surfboards available to guests.
