Vacation Rental Description

This Sicily holiday villa is located in a beautiful mountainous countryside in the historical local centre of the small village Rodi Milici and has a fantastic view over the sea and the Eolic islands (Vulcano, Lipari, Filicudi, Panarea, Salina, Alicudi, Stromboli) as well as into the surrounding mountainous landscape to Tindari (Black Madonna).

The holiday villa was completely restored in 2005 and affectionately equipped with beautiful antiques. A large roof terrace with external shower makes it possible for you to enjoy the great view already in the morning while you have your breakfast.

The Sicily villa consists of two single and one double bedroom with balcony and features a large living room with a second balcony. The kitchen is completed with panorama-glazing and access to the terrace. The bathroom provides a shower and an additional WC with washing machine is procided in this holiday villa.

About Surfing Holidays Messina

Casa Vulcano is situated in the local part Rodi in the middle of the historical center (center storico) at a small hill in the district San Philippo, with view over the whole village up to the sea and the Eoli islands. You can live here among the extremely hospitable and unlocked village inhabitants.

The German couple, who ownes the Sicily holiday villa, lives in the house next door and is available for questions or problems at any time.

Rodi Milici consists of 2,200 inhabitants. The local parts Milici and Rodi are embedded between the sea in a beautiful mountainous countryside in half altitude. You will need about a 10 minutes drive to reach the beach which is suitable for children. The mountains at the coast and in the hinterland are marvelous in their original nature. To enjoy the unique landscape you can make a tour with a mountainbike and the routes for motorcycles are a treat.

In Rodi you will find everything in the periphery of approx. 300m for the daily need: 2 supermarkets, 3 butcher, baker, 2 Pizzeria/Ristorante, 2 Bars, pharmacy, physicians, post office, hairdresser.

In the larger cities nearby, like Barcellona (5 km) and Milazzo (10 km), a weekly market is held on Fridays and Saturdays offering typical articles from Italy and fashionable clothing. In the city centers you will find business of all kinds, as well as many objects of interest and fashion shops.
