We work with 3 scenarios: the scenario that applies to your chosen apartment will be clearly shown in your booking voucher.
Scenario 1 (most common): the owner wants the security deposit in cash on arrival
If no damages have occurred the owner will refund the security deposit to you on the day you leave. Please arrange a time with him/her on the day you arrive.
Scenario 2: the owner wants an imprint of your credit card
No money is taken from your credit card unless breakage has occured.
Scenario 3: the owner wants to collect the security deposit prior to arrival
In this case you will asked to pay the security deposit through your booking voucher sometimes no later than 15 days before arrival. The money is charged to your credit card and refunded to you by us no later than 15 days after departure.
