Vacation Rental Description

This wonderful stone and wood Three Valleys chalet is arranged over three spacious floors and is well appointed with modern furnishings throughout. The middle floor of this chalet is given entirely over to living space with the kitchen/dining room separated from the lounge area by an archway and a step.

The warm and spacious lounge, complete with a lovely log fire and large south-facing balcony has plenty of comfortable seating, making it the perfect place for relaxing with an après-ski beer or pre-dinner aperitif. Facilities include Satellite TV, DVD, Video, CD sound system and board games.

The chalet boasts a high level of comfort with its 4 bathrooms to 5 bedrooms, including a Jacuzzi-bath in the master bedroom, large steam room/shower in the shared bathroom and a heated towel rail in each of the bathrooms. Beautiful French double doors in three of the four bedrooms on the top floor lead to a south facing balcony , offering wonderful views and filling the rooms with warm sunny light.

The security-coded entrance door leads into the chalet via a large ski storage area with ski/snowboard storage and heated boot racks for that luxury warm ski-boot feeling in the morning!

About Skiing Holidays Courchevel

Courchevel Le Praz, truly Savoyard in character, is definitely the prettiest of the four Courchevel villages. A quaint village square, rustic chalets and narrow cobbled streets create a traditional French village ambience, which is rare these days in most French ski resorts.
Le Praz boasts a good selection of lively bars, mouth-watering creperies and fine restaurants including "Le Bistrot du Praz", one of the most famous restaurants in the Three Valleys.

Le Praz is excellently situated with two telecabine lifts, "Praz" and "Foret"(located less than 200 metres from our chalet) providing uncomplicated access to the magnificent Three Valley skiing region. The Praz telecabine lift takes you directly into Courchevel 1850 in time to meet for ski school. The Foret telecabine lift whisks you up towards the summit of "La Loze" at 2196metres, giving easy access to the wonderful skiing of Courchevel or Meribel valley! Of course with Courchevel's reputable lift system queues are virtually non-existent…utilising just two lifts from the Le Praz village you can be skiing in the next valley within 20 minutes!

Skiing to Le Praz is a breathtaking experience in itself! Tree lined pistes, some of the prettiest in the three valleys, lead you to the village of Le Praz and within 30 metres (approx) of your chalet, Chalet Florame.

The traditionally good snow, north facing slopes (these retain the snow much longer than many higher ski resorts) and extensive network of snow cannons that service the pistes enable you to ski back to the village throughout the season.

Of course for those wishing to stay behind for an après ski drink in one of the sophisticated bars of 1850, a free ski bus service operates (until 0100 every night) to take you and your skis back to your chalet in Le Praz!
