This Chamonix Chalet offers the best of both worlds, close enough to Chamonix Town to stroll to the array of shops, restaurants and bars, yet far enough away to escape the noise, hustle & bustle of this lively atmospheric town.

Chalet Chantel is very spacious and comfortable. Set in its own large grounds in a prestigious area of Chamonix, Chalet Chantel has wonderful uninterrupted views of the Mont Blanc Range and one of the best views of Mont Blanc and the Glacier.

The bedrooms of this Chalet in Chamonix are individually styled with private shower/bathrooms. Most of the rooms face Mont Blanc. The Triple aspect Dining room has an East West and South facing terrace. The cosy lounge has an open log fire,. There is free private fparking. In Winter we operate a free private shuttle to the ski lifts and 2 days free ski orientation for red run + competent skiers.

18 hole golf course designed by world famous Robert Trent Jones Senior, fantastic setting plus walking, hiking, mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking, rafting, hydro speeding, canyoning, fly fishing, windsurfing, horse & pony riding, paragliding, helicopter trips, tennis, swimming, adventure parks, leisure park with two 910m long taboggon runs.

Several ski lifts are all open in the summer to ensure your enjoyment of the Chamonix Valley.

Summer & Winter activities
Sports Centre, Swimming pool & health centre, pool with jacuzzi, water slide, paddling pool, sauna, hamman, fitness room, climbing wall, tennis & squash, ice skating.

Further activities and interests include bowling, amusement arcade, alpine museum, exhibitions, concerts, petanque, bridge club, cinema, casino, and heritage tours.

Chamonix is an atmospheric, historical town surrounded by snow-capped peaks, glaciers and nature reserves.

Mont Blanc attracts visitors from all over the world. Approximately 2000 people a year fulfil their life ambitions and climb to the summit of Mont Blanc, fitness and weather permitting (guide recommended). Or !!!!!!. In 20 minutes 2 cable cars will take you from Chamonix to the Aiguille Du Midi at an altitude of 3842m just below Mont Blanc. From the observation platform you have a panoramic view of the towering mountain peaks of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. From the Auguille du Midi you can take the Helbronner cable car to Italy. (summer only ) An awe inspiring 5-km journey over an amazing landscape of endless snow, seracs & crevasses.

The Montenvers train will take you up to an altitude of 1913m to the famous Mer de Glace and Ice grotto.

The Mont Blanc Tramway the highest rack & pinion train in France travels to 2372m.

Chamonix is very accessible. It is just an hours drive from Geneva Airport and is motorway/dual carriageway all the way. Lyon, Chambery & Milan are just over a 2 hour drive.

Day trips. Lake Annecy and its charming old town is about an hours drive, the thermal baths in Switzerland are within 1.5 hour drive as is the 11th Century Castle of Chillon which sits in Lake Geneva just south of Montreaux. Lausanne is about 10 minutes further along the lake.

The borders of Italy and Switzerland are just a 20 minute drive away. The Italian ski resort of Courmayeur is about a 25 minute drive

   Winter: double room from £50 per person based on 2 people sharing a room on a half board basis.

   Half board is breakfast, afternnon tea with homemade cakes and a 3 course dinner with good qualty wine followed by cofee and chocolates.
