About Sicily Taormina

The hotel “Il Picchio Golf Resort”, to Rovittello, Castiglione di Sicilia, is distant 45 Km from Catania and 60 Km from the Fontanarossa airport. From the hotel are easy reachable: Taormina, rich of art and culture; the Alcantara River, where the erosion of the river has created in the centuries the famous Throats; the Etna, where are possible excursions to craters and are present the systems for the alpine and ski touring to “Piano Provenzana”; the sea with the beach of Marina di Cottone, to Fiumefreddo di Sicilia.
