Vacation Rental Description

This holiday beachhouse in the Bahamas was built in 1997 and consists of four bedrooms. Emphasis was put on the use of natural materials in the construction of the house using cypress tongue and groove paneling, Abaco pine and ceramic tile.

The master bedroom is on the second floor where you will enjoy outstanding views from every window. In the lower bedroom (toward the East) through the window, the sunrise can be seen right over your toes.

On some mornings, just before the sun breaks the horizon, the entire sky turns brilliant red over the ocean. There is an additional bedroom/loft upstairs and a half bath. The bedroom/loft has a large front window and you'll find it to be the best place for morning coffee.

The main level consists of a living room, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. This area opens through three sliding doors onto the front deck. With the front wall being nearly entirely glass, the view is spectacular.

Surrounding the house is a wrap-around deck which expands the outside space twelve feet out the front and rear and five feet along the sides.

About Diving Destinations Abaco

The walk to the beach is down a path through the low brush, about 150 feet from the house. There you will find a beach shack to get out of the sun and read a book.

If you plan on eating at restaurants, there are some very good ones as the Nippers beachbar and grill, the “blue water / red sky” and Mermaid. There is also a restaurant within the Orchid Bay Marina area.

Additionally, on the main street you will find Milo's fruit stand, Laundromat, Fig Tree Liquor Store and the Guana Seaside Church.
