Hotel Description
Villa Vilina is situated on the island of Lopud near the world famous UNESCO site of the City of Dubrovnik, Croatia. Villa Vilina is a romantic stylish hotel situated in a 1932 stone building sitting directly on the main promenade in the bay and harbor of the town of Lopud. It was fully refurbished 6 years ago to a modern 4-star standard and it was the very first 4-star hotel on a Croatian island. We provide easy access from the airport to the island and back.
The hotel has 17 rooms in the main building and additional 7 apartments in the new villa behind, there is a swimming pool and a beautiful large private garden for relaxation. For our guests we organize free taxi and speed boat transfer from the airport to the island and we have a set of several luxury speed boats that are available for private hire. On daily basis we offer speciality trips to wine cellars and vineyards, fishing villages, cultural sites and other locations.
Our restaurant and terrace are known for fine dining and lounge bar.
As part of our hotel offer, there are Thai massage treatments with native masseurs from Tahailand doing hot stone, Thai, herbal, full-body and other massages, as well as sound massage with Tibetan singing bowls and morning and evening yoga classes in the garden done by our yoga teacher.
Once a month we have art exhibition openings in our lobby-restaurant gallery as well as visiting chefs gourmet evenings with chefs coming from London, Vienna and other places.
We organize group specialty trips, cocktail and garden parties, corporate retreats, board meetings (up to 15 people), management anti-stress programs in Autumn, honeymoon escapes and other personalized services.
About Diving Destinations Dubrovnik
The island is famous for being the summer home of some of the European royalty and others who own beautiful renaissance villas, but also for being the home of "Your Black Horizon Art Pavilion" by the internationally acclaimed contemporary Danish artist Olafur Eliasson and British architect David Adjaye, commissioned by Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary (a leading international contemporary art foundation set up by Francesca von Habsburg). http://www.tba21.org/pavilion
The island offers a true refuge from crowds in the nearby Dubrovnik and has the most amazing secluded long sand beach with no houses or hotels to spoil your experience. There are no cars on the island and there is plenty of walking or cycling paths through forests, over the cliffs and to different chapels, fortresses and ruins.
