Vacation Rental Description

Casa Brandolini is situated in the vicinity of Capo d’Orso on a unspoiled stretch of coast, where its natural state is intact and wild, it is an isolated house, a few metres from the water, in surrounding countryside that has no equal in Sardinia or even in the Mediterranean area as a whole.

There are different points in front of the house where you can get in the water, so that depending on the wind, there is always at least one spot whitout any waves. Right in front of the house there is a wonderful natural water pool (about 200 square meters) where the water is between 1 and 3 feet deep.

The house is spread over a surface area of approximately 180 square metres and follows the slope of the land.  On the upper level are three bedrooms (two double and one with four bunk beds) and two small bathrooms.  On the intermediate level, there is a small study with a pull-out bed.  On the lower floor, there is a large living room with two pull-out beds, a large portico/verandah (where most of the day is normally spent), a kitchen, boxroom and a third small bathroom.  Except for the kitchen, the windows of all the rooms look out over the sea.

Palau is on the Sardinian mainland just in front of the National Park of the Arcipelago della Maddalena, ferries link Palau to La Maddalena, Genoa and Naples. Only five kilometres from Palau are Punta Sardegna and Porto Rafael, fashionable spots for high society. Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo are respectively thirty and forty kilometres away. The nearest airport is Olbia, about fifty kilometres away, offering frequent domestic and international flights. The closest hospital is at La Maddalena.
