About the apartment;


This is my private apartment and I love sharing it with like-minded travelers.    It is decorated with high quality furnishings, very clean and well organized.  To ensure the best possible Holiday I personally set-up the apartment prior to your arrival and meet you when you arrive in San Francisco; answering any question you may have about the apartment and San Francisco.  As an added bonus I offer many great suggestions to local restaurant and activities based on your likes when you reserve the apartment.  If you enjoy staying in boutique and small luxury hotels I think you will truly enjoy the atmosphere of the The Apartment. The Apartment is 1000 square feet (92.9 m2) and has a southeast exposure filling The Apartment with great light making the space airy and bright.  It is large for city standards. You will have lots of room to relax.  The bedroom is completely separate from the living room and there is a great breakfast/ seating area to keep the cook company if you decide to eat in. The dining table is placed next to a window so you can enjoy the view of Cathedral Hill. You will not need a car, as everything is easily assessable by foot, taxi or public transportation.

About San Francisco Russian Hill

Luxury on Lombard is one of the nicest vacation rentals available in San Francisco.  The apartment is located on the cusp of Russian Hill which makes it convenient to many destinations that you will visit if you’re traveling on business or for holiday.  The apartment is located near the following;

 Places of Interest

Fisherman’s Warf – 4 blocks

Cable Cars- 2 blocks. The cable cars will take you to China Town, The Financial District, Union Square (from Union Square you can walk to SF MOMA), The Ferry Building and Nob Hill. As a local I ride this all the time to get to work and to dinner.

Fort Mason Park- 3 blocks

The Beach-5 blocks

Crissy Field/ Presidio/ Palace of Fine Arts-15 minute walk along the bay.

Other Places of Interest:

Golden Gate Park, Haight & Ashbury Street, Legion of Honor (These places are a little far to walk by foot from The Apartment. I would recommend taking a cab or bus)

Ferry Building, Giants Stadium, SF MOMA, Golden Gate Bridge, North Beach, Science Museum, Metroen, Downtown, Union Square, Grace Catheral, Nob Hill, Coit Tower, Alcatraz, The Castro, Hayes Valley, Filmore Street, Civic Center, Asian Museum, The TransAmerican Building and The Opera House can all be walked to from The Apartment (10-30 minutes). I have personally walked to all these places.  It's a great way to see The City.

 

Neighborhoods The Apartment is nearby:

-The Marina/ Chestnut Street (this area is filled with shopping, restaurants and pubs): 5-10 minute walk.

-Union Street/ Cow Hollow (this area is filled with shopping, restaurants and pubs): 5 minute walk

-*Polk Street (this is my local neighborhood where you have everything available to you): 3 block you will find a grocery store, pharmacy, cafes, pubs, casual to 4 star restaurants, women’s shopping)

 

Taxi & Transportation:

You can catch a cab to take you anywhere in the city and a cab will pick you up at the front of the building or you can hail a cab on Polk Street.  You just have to walk one block.

By Bus

There are also several bus lines that can take you down Van Ness Street (towards the Opera House), Lombard Street ( towards the Palace of Fine Arts and Golden Gate Bridge) or Downtown (for shopping but taking the cable car is more fun) even to Sausalito across the bay which can be caught a block or two from the apartment.

 Live like a Local and have a true San Francisco experience!

If you truly want a GREAT San Francisco experience, live like a local, be central to most Places Of Interest that you will visit and avoid “tourist traps” this is the PERFECT Neighborhood to be in during your stay. I would also recommend The Marina, Union Street and some areas of Pacific Heights. The other neighborhoods in San Francisco are great to visit but they tend to be out of the way from the most popular destination that you will likely visit.  Russian Hill is very central and caters to a wide range of people because of the location, great restaurants and assorted shopping boutiques.

Notes on Apartment Prices

1. General Details:

   A Weeks rental includes 6 nights/ 7 days

   Check In time is 4 PM

   Check Out time is 12 noon

   Deposits:

   Half of the rental charge is due to secure your reservation.The remaining rental charge, cleaning fee $85.00/ $150 with pets and Security Deposit of $500 is due 20 days prior to arrival. 

2. The $500 Security Deposit will be returned 10 days after departure in full as long as there are no damages to property, contents or expenses incurred.

   Payment Types: Personal Check (verified funds), Cashier Check (verified funds), Wire Transfer, Paypal (credit cards, verified) Please note: there is a $12 transaction fee for each wire transfer or 2.9% fee for US credit card processing or 3.9% fee for foreign credit card transaction/ processing fee that will be added to total cost of rental

   Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 21 days prior to your arrival date to receive a full refund of your deposit.  

3. If less than 21 days your deposit is forfeited and will not be returned. Sorry, No EXCEPTIONS. This is a prime destination and popular time of year.

   This in a NON-smoking apartment and I prefer non-smoking guest. Thank you for understanding.
