Bay Cove Inn is an affordable accommodation establishment offering discount travel based on a nautical theme.

We are situated in the cosy, quiet part of Jeffreys Bay, just 150 m from Albatross beach and a mere 900m walk along the coast line to Super Tubes Beach where the Billabong competition is held, whilst the city centre of Jeffreys Bay is 2km from the Bay Cove Inn. The Kabeljouws Estuary is also a mere 800m away from us and here numerous local and migratory birds can be viewed.

The owners of Bay Cove Inn, having lived in the area, will also be in the position to advise you regarding your further travels arrangements be it within the Eastern Cape towards Port Elizabeth or further down the Garden Route towards Knysna or Cape Town. Bay Cove Inn also offers a multitude of local activities including horse riding, safari parks, shell hunting or surfing.

About Safari Holidays Jeffrey's Bay

The town of Jeffreys Bay is located in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. The town is situated just off the N2 Highway, about an hour's drive southwest of Port Elizabeth. Jeffreys Bay is one of the five most famous surfing destinations in the world and hosts the annual Billabong Pro WCT surfing event at Supertubes during July. Spectators and surfers from all over the world flock to this event, which can be viewed live over the internet and various television channels. Boneyards, SuperTubes, Impossibles, Tubes, Point, and Kitchen Windows are all famous surf spots located in Jeffreys whilst the world famous ALBATROSS BEACH is directly in front of Bay Cove Inn.

It is also the home of the yearly Billabong Pro surfing competition. This International event attracts professional surfers from all over the world, and many tourists as well. It is broadcasted over the internet and digital satellite services providing publicity for the sponsors and competitors.
