This vacation apartment in Rome is a spacious and bright apartment rental in the residential and elegant area of Prati. It's 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro where you can be at the Spanish Steps in 3 stops and 10 minutes walk to the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo.

The spaciousness and comfort of the three large bedrooms and two bathrooms, ensures this vacation rental is the ideal vacation rental for large families. Situated on the 3rd floor (with elevator) of lovely palazzo, this Rome apartment has been recently renovated including beautiful ceilings decorated with stucco works. The furniture is modern and colourful. The bright and large living room comes with a large dining area, TV, chairs and a comfortable sofa bed for two. Wifi included.

There are three large bedrooms. The master bedroom comes with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The two other bedrooms come with twin beds and there is a separate bathroom with shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped including a washing machine and dishwasher.

This vacation apartment in Rome is located in Prati which is considered one of the nicest middle-high to high standard areas of Rome.

Centrally located near the Vatican, the buildings in this area was mostly built in the late 1800's. Some streets have smaller buildings surrounded by court yards and trees but most of the area consists of big buildings, wide streets and squares lined with trees.

Prati is a quite elegant area with plenty of exclusive fashion shops, bars and restaurants. The main disadvantages of living here is the 40 minutes walk to the closest public park of "Villa Borghese" and the difficulties in finding car parking.

The area is busy in the day time due to the many professional studios and shops located here, but at night time it gets very quiet. This is the perfect area to stay in with a family.

The location was great, the property was very clean, quiet, and had a LOT of space for the 8 of us to stay. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Rome.

We enjoyed our stay in Viale Vatican apartment. It was on the 3rd floor and a lift delivered us to it on several occasions as we spent so much time to-ing & froing to the different sights in Rome. The apartment was very suitable to us (5 adults) very well equiped and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. If we visit Rome again we will certainly consider Viale Vatican apartment.

Great location! The apartment was ideally situated, with plenty of local stores and restaurants in our neighbourhood, but away from the tourist traps. I would definitely stay there again.

The location is absolutely perfect, only 10 minute walk to the Vatican. The neighborhood is very friendly with grocery store and restaurants nearby. The apartment is very spacious, awesome for a family that's traveling and wants to spread out and not be cramped. I would definitely stay here again.

the stay in Rome was great. The apartment was a little further out from the busy center but it gave a real flavour of local Roman life. Walking into the centre was possible, but catching the metro made things only 5 minutes away. Irene, the owner was a pleasure to deal with and she'd left all the information you'd ever need to know about how to use the flat, and also how to get around the local area and head off to the sites. The arranged chauffeur was on time and made the hectic Roman roads feel as calm as you could have wished for. All in all it was a great experience, i wouldn't hesitate to find somewhere else to stay via Holiday Velvet. Thanks

hi james, just wanted to email you to say thanks for your assistance with our wonderful holiday in Bella Roma recently. the viale vaticano apartment was like home from home and very spacious. within a few hours of being there we had all decided not to use hotels again!!! irene was very helpful and even provided me with a toaster. we did however have probs using our mobiles in italy and could not get hold of irene. no probs rome and florence were as wonderful as ever and we cant wait to go back again! we saw the italian president and his pm eating spaghetti in the piazza navona and nearly saw the pope at the special festival last friday!! italy will be the first choice for holidays for us all for a long time to come. thanks again.

The Viale Vatican property is in a nice location. The property was very clean, the house owner was very friendly and helpful. When we entered the property, we found a number of useful maps, address and details of how to come back to the property, supermarkets and other details which we found very useful. Overall it was a very good, neat property which I would opt for in the next trip to Rome.

Had a great trip and cannot recommend Holiday Velvet and Viale Vaticano highly enough. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, the owner was very helpful and the apartment was superb. Will definitely consider both for future holidays.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 3 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
