This beautiful Rome apartment is located in a nice and green area called Balduina and is close to the Hilton Hotel. This Rome apartment is on the 4th floor (with elevator) of a modern palazzo surrounded by nice shops, boutiques, restaurants and supermarkets: everything you need for an ideal vacation is nearby.

This Rome apartment is 700 meters from the Vatican Museum and is well connected to the center by buses, metro and Castel Sant'Angelo is only 10 minutes walk away. You'll be walking distance from the Vatican Museum and Saint Peter's Church.

The apartment is divided into one large living room, two bedrooms: one double, one with twin beds. There's a large fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine and nicely decorated modern bathroom featuring a stand-up shower.

Both bedrooms have access to a long balcony. It has been completely restructured and refurbished with many antique furniture and beautiful marble floor.

Everything is spotless and well taken care. The owner is a wine producer and he likes welcoming his guests with a good bottle of wine.

This Rome apartment is centrally located and walking distance the Centro Storico. The buildings in this area were mostly built in the late 1800's. Some streets have smaller buildings surrounded by courtyards and trees but most of the area consists of big buildings, wide streets and squares lined with trees.

The apartment is in one of the most ancient areas in Rome and walking distance to plenty of exclusive fashion shops, bars and restaurants including the Cola di Rienza highstreet which offers some of Rome's best shopping. Castel Sant’Angelo is a fascinating complex started out as the Emperor Hadrian's mausoleum, then in the Middle Ages was made into a fortress, and in the Renaissance was outfitted with papal apartments. Now it’s one of the busiest tourist attractions and offers fantastic views across Rome. You’re only 10 minutes walk to Piazza Navona from here.

lovely holiday ! picked up as arranged, appartment just perfect for our needs, spotless, and very close to vatican, landlady most accomodating with directions and tour books etc, deposit returned on time and not hassles! would recommend. Many thanks and would use service again ! e roche

Location was perfect for us. Very quiet building but the area was well serviced with shops , cafe, restaurants etc. Bus route to Centre of Rome on the door step and 15mins walk to Metro. Apartment had everything we required and was well presented. The owner was extremely helpful and understanding especially when our stay was extended due to the closure of the UK Airports.

The appartment was exactly as described, very clean and the service and welcome very good especially as one member of our party had limited mobility which is always a concern when staying somewhere unknown. The location was further from the Vatican than expected and further from the tube than described. So be prepared for a good half hour walk. However the location was quiet and suited our requirements. I would definitely recommend this appartment.

the apartment was fab and olga was a god send and so helpful . we are returning next year to see what we didn,t have time to see a beautiful place , we will be contactig holiday velvet for our next trip as they were very helpful and efficiant. if like our party you like a lively place this apartment may be a little out of the life and sole of the pary vibe , but for those who are there to just sight see and enjoy the culture this was a great location .we found the apartment clean tidy and everything you need was supplied . ps extreamly comfortable beds .

The apartment was tastefully decorated and suited our needs very well. The sitting room remained cool even when the temperature was 36 degrees centigrade. Although close to the Vatican, the apartment was little further out from the centre than expected. The excellent bus service, just around the corner helped us make the journey with ease.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable - decorated with antique furniture. Much nicer inside than outside, but exactly as described. The price was reasonable compared to other 2 bedroom apartments offered on other sites. The only thing we missed was a clothes dryer. The property manager lives in the same building and was very accommodating. The location is within walking distance to the metro, but a bit too far to walk to the train station. There is a food market a two-minute walk from the apartment. Although there was a language barrier, the neighbourhood business owners were kind to give us directions, call us taxies, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment again, if I were to go back to Rome.

We were met at the airport and tranferred to the apartment as arranged which was very useful as we had not had any sleep the night before. The owner met us and was charming and helpful. There was plenty of local information available. The apartment was comfortable with everything the four of us needed, local shops provided the necessaries and the bus stop into town was only 2 minutes away. There was a metro stop 15 minutes walk from the apartment and a 20 minute walk found us at the Vatican City. The apartment was well provided and clean, the shower was good . The sitting room was quite dark with no real daylight, but as we were out all day it didn't really matter. It was quiet at night and the residents seemed friendly. Rome is a fabulous city , beautiful, interesting and fascinating, and we had a great time.

We have just arrived back in Australia after our trip overseas and I wanted to send a note to thank you for organising the apartment in Rome for us. It was a little further out than we thought but we found the public transport very easy to navigate and it was quite nice to get away from the crowds! The apartment was perfect for us and so clean and comfortable and the owner very helpful. She gave us lots of information about where to eat locally and supplied maps and helpful info about the public transport and to top it off the weather was perfect. So thanks again and please pass on our best to the owner.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 3 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
