This Rome apartment rental is an "open space" of approximately 55 mq. and can accommodate up to 4 people. This holiday apartment in Rome is located on the 1st floor of an ancient palace (1400 c) that has endured several renovations throughout the centuries, up to the most recent one concluded in May 2005. The apartment has been decorated and furnished with good taste and refinement, in order to offer a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The original style has been maintained, for example, leaving the original beams visible, in order to respect the old architecture.

The position is right in the historical centre, in the prestigious Via Del Tritone. The apartment has a beautiful view and it is quiet and tranquil (all the windows have double glasses). The area where the apartment is located, is one of the most prestigious and a few minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, and just few steps away from the famous Via Veneto and Piazza Barberini.

This luxury Rome apartment overlooks a court where resides a famous leather boutique. The interior of the apartment resembles the history of this palace. In the living room, there are the remains of an ancient fireplace with an iron crook to hold the cauldron and some ancient bricks perfectly restored. The walls and the closets have been painted in pastel colours with methods and treatments that remember the antiques ones. The floor is in “cotto” (typical of ancient Rome). All the tapestries have been made in coordinate draperies in order to make an elegant and pleasant habitat. This scenery is a nice background for the plasma television, what amazing contrast between past and future!

The accommodation is composed by a “night area” with two elegant single beds that can be joined in one comfortable double bed, upon request. There is a living room with a kitchen corner fully equipped, a table and four wood chairs. The sofa can turn into a comfortable French bed. The bathroom has a shower, heating towels, and enough room to put personal belongings.

The air conditioning, independent heating, dishwasher, washing machine, safe and plasma television will ensure the best comfort in the heart of Rome.

Trevi A can also be rented out with Trevi B for groups of friends or families that need that extra space.

About Rome Trevi Fountain

This Rome apartment rental is in the Trevi Fountain area which is the most famous of all the Roman fountains. It is also known as the fountain where Anita Ekberg cooled off at night in Fellini's film "La Dolce Vita". Legend says that if you toss a coin over your shoulder and into the fountain, you will one day return to the eternal city.

The area was called in the 18th century Roman slang "er ghetto de l'inglesi" (the English ghetto). Now it is a homely area and an ideal location for exploring Rome by foot, as all major attractions - the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona - are in short walking distance. The area is replete with cafes, restaurants, internet cafes, trattorias and gelato shops.

Although the area is very touristic, when renting an apartment in the Trevi Fountain area you will get to know the true romantic and picturesque facets of Rome.
