This accommodation in Rome is in Campo di Fiori which is located in the heart of the Centro Storico, the historic centre of Rome and close to the Jewish Ghetto and Piazza Navona. The Vatican is also just across the river Tiber. This ancient piazza is at the heart of Rome and has become a popular spot for people to hang out to admire wonderful Renaissance and Baroque buildings, street artists, musicians and poets. By day Campo de' Fiori is dominated by a world famous outdoor food market. By late afternoon a large team of street cleaners have removed any trace of the market and it becomes the lazy hangout for those having a coffee or aperitivo in one of the many outdoor bars lining the piazza. In the summer people spill out of the bars into the piazza and it has a party like atmosphere. The area always has a vibrant feel and is home to some of the best restaurants in town.

Perfect location, around the corner from the old Jewish ghetto and the Portico of Octavio with plenty of shops and restaurants, and adjacent to many buses at Largo Argentina. The apartment is within walking distance of most places, but it's nice to have the option of a bus, and all the major routes stop close by. The owner/manager was very helpful and friendly, allowing us to leave our luggage early at the beginning, and late at the end of our stay. Spacious and clean with a good bathroom. Only minor criticism is somewhat low lighting levels!. Recommend for families.

The apartment was very clean and lovely and looked just like the pictures. The owner spoke English, which was very helpful. The location was wonderful; very central and safe. There is also a safe for your valuables. The only negatives were the air conditioning and that it was listed as a 1st floor apartment . I forgot that in Europe 1st floor means one flight up. One of our party had a difficult time with steps. Only 1 bedroom has air conditioning and you can't use the living room air conditioner at the same time as the bedroom one, it blows the fuse. This is a problem if you are renting in the summer. We also used the car service which was excellent and reliable.

Our Rome apartment was perfect The location is ideal, and the apartment was immaculate and pleasantly furnished. We were particularly grateful to Viola, the owner, who gave us prompt help several times when we had questions about appliances, etc. I recommend this apartment to anyone who needs 2 bedrooms in a prime, quiet location.

Great place to stay,handy to most major tourist attractions. Apartment clean and well presented with modern fittings.Helpful landlady. Good value for money. Will certainly recommend and use again. Only 2 gripes,we didnt get very good reception on the tv and the smaller beds matress was quite hard.

the location is excellent, even closer to campo than i would have thought. the apartment was lovely, welcoming and pristine. the agent who greeted us was very friendly and very helpful. i would also advise the pick-up from the airport as this meant we were left off straight at the door of the apartment.thank you for a great stay!

The flat was perfectly situated and well equipped. We found it easily and wished we could stay longer - it was all very easy. Wonderful bakeries near by to go and get food for breakfast, Campo dei FIori a 4 minute stroll and all of Rome within walking distance. The beds were comfortable, all was clean and it was very good value for a family of four.

The holiday was superb. The apartment was very clean and its location was fantastic, Central and easy walking to all the attractions exactly as promised. Everything went smoothly, Wouldnt hesitate for a second recommending Holiday Velvet Will definately be booking again with You.

Great area within easy walking to cafes, piazzas, river. Benito's cafe downstairs has excellent food and lovely people. The accommodation catered well for a family of five - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

The location was excellent - We could easily walk to most places we wanted to go. Plenty of good restaurants and fresh food stores nearby. The owner was very helpful. Our only criticism is that the heating was turned down - way down!

This apartment was great. Not ever having stayed in anything except hotels, we didn't really know what to expect. The experience was surprisingly positive! It was like being at home. The location was excellent, within walking distance of everything and everyone around was helpful and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend the place to our friends. Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 3 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
