This recently restored holiday apartment in Rome is located on the first floor of a modern building with a doorman and lift. Tastefully decorated, this apartment has elegant white marble floors, prestigious furniture and tapestries.

This short-term Rome Vatican rental comprises of a long entrance hall, a large and elegant living room with a double sofa bed and dining area. The living room also comes with a small balcony connected to one of the bedrooms. The fully equipped and spacious kitchen offers a breakfast table and all the necesarry utensils you need during your stay.

The sleeping area features 5 bedrooms (1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms convertible into double, 2 bedrooms with French bed - 150cm width) and two bathrooms. The third bathroom, is in front of the living room. Each bedroom is beautifully furnished with large closets, flower decorations and TV.

This holiday apartment in Rome is located in the Vatican and is centrally located and walking distance the Centro Storico, the buildings in this area were mostly built in the late 1800's. Some streets have smaller buildings surrounded by courtyards and trees but most of the area consists of big buildings, wide streets and squares lined with trees.

The apartment is in one of the most ancient areas in Rome and walking distance to plenty of exclusive fashion shops, bars and restaurants including the Cola di Rienza highstreet which offers some of Rome's best shopping. Castel Sant’Angelo is a fascinating complex started out as the Emperor Hadrian's mausoleum, then in the Middle Ages was made into a fortress, and in the Renaissance was outfitted with papal apartments. Now it’s one of the busiest tourist attractions and offers fantastic views across Rome.

This Rome accommodation was beautiful, and clean. Facilities were great, we cooked for 9 people most nights. It's about 15 mins walk from the Vatican. This Rome holiday rental is well worth the money and we all would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was gorgeous! Very clean and well stocked. The owners went out of their way to meet our needs, to which we were very grateful. 15 minute walk to the Vatican. The 7 people in our party were very happy with everything, including the price.

My 6 adult children and I stayed here for 4 nights during a 3 week tour of Europe in Sept 2010. Without question this was the highlight of our trip. The unit was a marvellous example of what Italian hospitality is all about. It was supremely spacious, exquisitely decorated, included all the modern prerequisites you would ever want and the owner had gone to the trouble of ensuring all requirements were fully laid on. Having 3 full bathrooms for 7 was a sheer delight compared to the rest of our trip and I would have no hesitation in staying here again. Location for us at a 10 minute stroll to the Vatican was perfect, with bus right outside or alternatively an 800 meter walk to the underground, gave us all the options we needed. Every room had a modern well powered airconditioner which for us from Australia was heaven. I would have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending this to other Rome visitors. Ideal for large families or 3 to 4 couples travelling together. The owner who met us on our arrival was the perfect gentleman and made us feel right at home.

Beautiful and spacious flat about 25 min walk from St Peters and on a frequent bus route to the historical centre. A good and friendly takeaway pizzeria just up the hill, and close to supermarkets. Highly recommended if you need a big place. The pickup that Holiday Velvet arranged from the airport (for 6 adults and 2 children) was also friendly and efficient.

This was a fantastic place to stay. The owner was extremely helpful with everything. The location was excellent with everything a family could need nearby. The apartment was very well equipped. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This apartment was stellar. It was super clean, had espresso for our use, a computer with internet access, and a complete kitchen, it was more than I expected. The owner showed us where to find a local market place and places to dine. What a wonderful experience. I needed an extra limo service and when I contacted my Holiday Velvet agent, he was happy to set it up for me. I was so impressed. I will definitely book with Holiday Velvet again!

We had a fantastic 3 nights stay at San Damaso. The apartment is superb! It's big, bright and very clean. The furnishings are of a high quality and the beds incredibly comfortable. There were 9 of us staying at the apartment and it never felt cramped and with 3 bathrooms we were never waiting around. It is a 10 minute walk to the Vatican so the location is good. Only thing to watch is the hot water in the showers - it can get very hot!! Brilliant place would recommend to anyone.

Great location on residential street about a mile from the entrance to St. Peter's, the San Damaso was a wonderful find. It is exceedinly spacious by Roman standards, with five spacious bedrooms, and three full baths. The kitchen was perfect and also in like-new condition. The TV/dining room was comfortable too. Everything in the apartment was in outstanding condition-- it was a fully stocked rental ready to be enjoyed. The owners were very understanding and helpful to all of our needs. They are very professional in their approach to renting this apartment, and it shows in the quality and condition of the unit. It was great to live in the midst of a nice neighborhood-- a grocery store was only about a block away and the best cafe in Rome (Cafe Grecco) is just on the corner. Taxis were readily available in a minute or two with a quick phone call. All in all, there were NO negatives with this apartment that I can think of. It easily housed our party of 9, which included 5 children. If our travels take us back to Rome, we will rent here again. We are first time renters-- it was a great experience. experience

The apartment is located in a perfect part of the city. The flat itself was wonderful. It had all the amenities and it was big and clean and very homely. My entire family enjoyed it thoroughly. We would definitely stay there again. Cheers

It was great to be able to start the day with an espresso coffee. it was a nice touch. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the Vatican, or a bus ride from outside the apartment to the historic centre.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 3 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
