Vacation Rental Description

A prestigious 160 square meter apartment that offers absolute luxury in the heart of Rome. Located right on Piazza del Poplolo, the huge living room provides views overlooking this famous piazza.
This wonderful and prestigious Rome apartment is for those seeking something different and luxurious.

The apartment is on the second floor (without elevator) of a beautifully restored and tranquil ancient palazzo. As you enter the elegant foyer you'll be greeted by a beautiful sunken living room with large wooden beamed ceiling and wooden floors. There's a wonderful double sofa bed that moves electronically out from the side of the room and into the middle of the floor. There's a mixture of contemporary and old throughout the apartment with a huge 45" TV blending in perfectly with antique furniture and paintings .

The living room leads into a dining room which has the feeling of a beautifully decorated country manor. There's comfortable chairs, sofas and an antique dining table for 6. You can eat dinner with the view of Piazza del Popolo before you.

The kitchen is hidden behind and accessed via a door in a huge mirrored wall. Here you'll find a narrow but very well equipped kitchen. From here you'll find one of the first bedrooms with bunk beds. There's a bathroom with shower and a laundary room leading from this bathroom.

Walking out from the bedroom you'll come to the corridor that leads from the front door to the next bedroom and then living room. The master bedroom comprises of a queen sized bed, a beautiful antique bed head and the en-suite bedroom bathroom. Here you'll find a bath with jacuzzi you could sink a ship in. The whole bathroom is tastefully decorated in black marble.

There are interesting collected art objects and antique paintings throughout the living and dining room. The 10ft space from ceiling to floor in the living quarters are most impressive.

This is a most particular residence with antique furniture and ornaments and therefore is not suitable for children under 10 years of age.

The Spanish Steps is a beautiful and elegant area in Rome; a daily busy hive of people shopping at the designer stores drinking at the upmarket bars and eating at excellent restaurants.

Piazza di Spagna is found just south of Villa Borghese park, midway between Piazza Barberini and Piazza del Popolo and just off the Via del Corso, Rome's main shopping street. The area is a very upmarket residential area, inhabited by Roman families who live there seemingly oblivious to the tourism and enjoying life - like in any regular neighbourhood.
