This vacation apartment in Rome has a terrific position where you can enjoy the view of the Pantheon from the double bedroom. Even though it's central, it's quiet and tranquil and is walking distance to all the sights.

This Rome apartment features a living room with a dining area and a sofa bed for one person; two bedrooms: one double and one twin. There is a separate WC with toilet and sink accessed that can be accessed by the living room.

The separated kitchen is large and fully equipped and the en-suite bathroom has a tub/shower. The whole apartment is full of light, spacious and has all modern comforts.

This vacation apartment in Rome is in the Pantheon area in Rome which seems to have stood still in time. Made of cobblestone streets, small piazzas and many many gelaterias, anyone staying in this part of the historical center of Rome is bound to love it. The area is close to the Trevi Fountain on one end and the Piazza Navona on the other, so that you are at the epicenter of Rome's must-see sites.

The Pantheon is the only ancient Roman Temple to survive the millennia almost completely intact. It was built by the son-in-law of the emperor Augustus, Marcus Agrippa, who dedicated it to all the gods in 27 BC, but the building attained its present appearance following the renovation ordered by Hadrian between 118 and 125 AD. The portico was embellished with large doors and bronze decorations that survived until the seventeenth century, when Pope Urban VIII Barberini had them melted down to build the baldachin in St. Peter's. Subsequently the Pantheon was restored on several occasions, and is now a church housing the tombs of several kings of Italy and great artists, including Raphael. The dome is the largest to have come down to us from antiquity and was constructed by a single pouring of concrete into a wooden scaffold. It has a beautiful and harmonious decoration of coffers.

The location of this property is fabulous if you want to be central to the heart of Rome. The apartment is clean, the beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works well. The small balcony off the master bedroom overlooks the Pantheon as promised, but why stay in the apartment and just look when all you have to do is take the new elevator(wonderful surprise to us!) down and bask in amazement at the structure itself. If cooking in, is what you want, then it will only be adequate but otherwise, the stay in this apartment is well worth the reasonable cost.

Position of apartment was fabulous. So close to the Pantheon with many cafes and restaurants to choose from. Also a small supermarket just around the corner. Air conditioning was much apppreciated in the middle of summer. Getting to the apartment could be difficult for some - 101 stairs to climb ! Difficult initially if you have lots of luggage. Overall a clean and adequate apartment - a toaster and an electric jug would have made our stay easier also.

Our stay at the Pantheon Rose was very good. The apartment was excellent, clean and in a perfect location overlooking the Pantheon. However there were two issues, the air conditioning unit in the living area was leaking water constantly and the whole building we were in was being seriously renovated, workmen every day and we were the only residents in the building on the forth floor. The pick up service from the airport was excellent again and we also booked the same service to take us back to the airport (excellent value and service). Rome as always was wonderful if a bit expensive (a rum and coke overlooking the pantheon was ten euros). Saying all that cannot wait to go back to Rome, will always use your company to arrange apartment and pickup. It is the most beautiful city in the world, so much to see, more and more every time we go.

Fantastically central location for seeing all the sites. Apartment clean and comfortable and resonably priced (although a bit cold when we stayed in february! )The stairs were a challenge after a long day out and the 3 floors below were a building site whilst we were there. Overall though an ideal base for exploring the city.

Fantastic location, clean, surprisingly quiet. 100 stairs up (top floor) and no lift could be a problem for some, but it was fine for us.

The location was fantastic - right in front of the Pantheon and in the middle of the city. Had a been about a foot taller I could have seen it over the balcony wall but that is in the lap of the gods. The flat was great for a family of four but the cracks in the ceiling need looking at - there were torrential storms and we had to mop up with towels. Just a tip for the kitchen - as the gas needs lighting with a match, a big box would have been handy as would a plug for the sink! However, these are small details and easily rectified. Plenty of hot water, very comfortable beds so we had a wonderful stay. Would happily do it again.

The location was amazing overlooking the Pantheon. The apartment facilities were adequate for us and we were very comfortable. the building was under construction but this did not concern us. The stairs made us quite fit. All in all it was very good.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 3 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
