This Rome accommodation is just few steps between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. An apartment in Rome located in the heart of the city, you'll be walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Trastevere, Campo dei Fiori and the Vatican .

This wonderful Rome apartment is bursting with atmosphere and offers you the opportunity of staying in a real home: recently renovated this apartment includes beautiful "Florentine Cotto" floors and high arched ceilings and all modern comforts.

The architect that refurbished this Rome apartment has given a lot of attention to detail including the upholstery, antique furniture and an ancient Roman column that separates the living room from the bedroom area. In the living room loft you will admire a unique XVIII century, completely hand curved cupboard.

The apartment is split level where the second floor is accessed by a stair located in the living room. On the first level you will find a spacious living room with two large sofas, a small table and a sleeping area with a beautifully hand-painted double bed. In the living room, on the right side, through a small corridor, there is a double bedroom and a separate bathroom with a tub.

The kitchen is on the second floor and is accessed by the private stair case.

About Rome Pantheon

This Rome accommdoation is one of the most ancient areas in Rome and one of the most beautiful. You'll find small piazzas, cobblestone streets, gelaterias and wonderful restaurants throughout this area. You're also close by to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fontain from here.

The Pantheon is the only ancient Roman Temple to survive the millennia almost completely intact. It was built by the son-in-law of the emperor Augustus, Marcus Agrippa, who dedicated it to all the gods in 27 BC, but the building attained its present appearance following the renovation ordered by Hadrian between 118 and 125 AD. The portico was embellished with large doors and bronze decorations that survived until the seventeenth century, when Pope Urban VIII Barberini had them melted down to build the baldachin in St. Peter's. Subsequently the Pantheon was restored on several occasions, and is now a church housing the tombs of several kings of Italy and great artists, including Raphael. The dome is the largest to have come down to us from antiquity and was constructed by a single pouring of concrete into a wooden scaffold. It has a beautiful and harmonious decoration of coffers.
