Rome vacation apartment rental Ottaviano is a large grand family apartment in a middle class residential area of Rome called Prati. Prati is the most centrally located residential areas being right next to the Vatican, and close to one of Rome's premier shopping streets Cola di Rienzo.

The area is well connected to all forms of public transport, most importantly it is near a Metro station on the "A" line, only two stops from The Spanish Steps.

This Rome apartment rental is on the second floor of a large ancient palazzo with an elevator and courtyard.

The vacation apartment comprises a living room with a convertable sofa bed a television and dining table that seats six. There are two twin bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and has recently been refurbished. The main bathroom has a whirlpool bath and the second bathroom a shower and toilet.

This Rome vacation apartment rental is in Prati which is considered one of the nicest middle-high to high standard areas of Rome.

Centrally located near the Vatican, the buildings in this area was mostly built in the late 1800's. Some streets have smaller buildings surrounded by court yards and trees but most of the area consists of big buildings, wide streets and squares lined with trees.

Prati is a quite elegant area with plenty of exclusive fashion shops, bars and restaurants. The main disadvantages of living here is the 40 minutes walk to the closest public park of "Villa Borghese" and the difficulties in finding car parking.

The area is busy in the day time due to the many professional studios and shops located here, but at night time it gets very quiet. This is the perfect area to stay in with a family.
