Located on two levels this Rome accommodation offers luxury and elegance. Spacious, bright and located in a 17th century pallazo in the famous Via Margutta. This apartment in Rome is on the third floor with an elevator; grapevines in true Italian style cover the verandah in front of the doorway.

On the first level of this Rome accommodation you'll find a large double sofabed, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a lovely furnished gardened terrace. The terrace offers wonderful 180 degree views of Rome and there's a dining table for eating outside in the hot months.

The spiral staircase will take you up to the second level where you'll find a large queen size bed, a beautiful modern bathroom with tub and shower, a double sofa and an additional sofabed for relaxing.

This Rome accommodation is in the Spanish Steps area which is a beautiful and elegant area in Rome; a daily busy hive of people shopping at the designer stores drinking at the upmarket bars and eating at excellent restaurants.

Piazza di Spagna is found just south of Villa Borghese park, midway between Piazza Barberini and Piazza del Popolo and just off the Via del Corso, Rome's main shopping street. The area is a very upmarket residential area, inhabited by Roman families who live there seemingly oblivious to the tourism and enjoying life - like in any regular neighbourhood.

The location couldn't be better. This is the street that Audrey Hepburn stays in in Roman Holiday -- what more could you ask for? The restaurants and cafÃ©s around the apartment are fantastic. There's no need to go any further than via Margutta itself. The apartment building is beautiful, with amazing wisteria. The apartment itself is a high-ceilinged artist's studio. The apartment has a dusty look, but in fact was clean and adequately equipped. The beds upstairs are on a mezzanine, with no door, which worked just fine for our group but might be problematic for others. It was unusually hot and stormy and the a/c didn't make much difference, but the volume is such that it wasn't a real problem. We loved having the terrace (with view of other apartments rather than the seven hills). The owner was charming and welcoming, and the airport transfer was well worth the extra expense.

Thank you so much for recommending the margutta suites. The accomodation was perfect, very large and in a great great location, literally only 3 minutes walk to the spanish steps. Everything worked out perfect for us including the chauffer who picked us up from airport and same on returning. We loved rome and the beautiful restaurants near spanish steps and via condotti and friattini. We will certainly reccommed your website to our friends and we would also use it again. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented. Every effort will be made to find a replacement tenant, in which case the Client will be reimbursed pro-rata, minus a 50% service charge and not be liable for the 1 nights rental.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 4 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
