This Rome accommodation is located in the heart of the historical district of Testaccio in the center district, close to Lungotevere: This apartment in Rome is a recently restored penthouse, with a 360° panoramic wide views over Rome.

This short term rental apartment is comfortably furnished and fully equipped, with air conditioning, central heating and a fireplace for a warm atmosphere. The style is trendy, with wooden beamed ceilings and parquet covered floorings, in accordance to the spirit of the district. It displays a living area on two levels, with large leather sofas, tv, cd, dvd, internet connection, hifi with wire broadcasting and air purifier.

The double bed is a foldaway, smoothly sliding under the living level, hidden during daytime. When needed, it is easy pulled out. Two more beds are available for an additional two people.

The bathroom is equipped with Jacuzzi and high level fittings. Towels will be kept warm by the heating elements. The kitchen, with french door to the furnished terrace which includes a table and a bench with 4 stools. The guests will find dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, iron and iron board, kettle, coffe machine and a toaster.

This Rome accommodation is in Testaccio which is an area served by the line B of the metro, the bus and tramways for easily access to the center; the apartment is strategically situated in the lively and cool area of Testaccio, in the neighbourhoods of the suggestive Piramide and Circo Massimo and just under the famous Aventino Hill. THe area is next to Trastevere and the historical center of Rome.

It is located at a comfortable distance from the classic archaeological area. Enjoy the charming of the Colosseo by night and dip into the thousand-year atmosphere of the Foro Romano.

Great location (not too far from city centre and great to see some Roman community life), nice clean and comfortable apartment. All facilities were good with the 3G wi-fi dongle very helpful. Good value for money, helpful contact to meet us and be available for help if needed. Would definitely stay in apartment again.

I didn't rate the overall stay as a 5* cause the place was a bit too small. It was just two of us but since the descrption was sleeping 4 we thought it was bigger.

The apartment was really lovely place to stay. It was perfectly formed, every bit of space was optimised and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The outdoor area was really cute and was lovely to have breakfast in. The apartment was very clean and tidy on our arrival and we felt it was good value for money. There was a well stocked kitchen and the owner was really lovely. The surrounding area was really nice, as it was quite close to the river. There were lots of local shops selling lovely food.The only minor downside for us was that it would have be useful to have blackout blinds/curtains in the living room. As you could not close the blinds and the curtains were see through.

The apartment was fantastic. It looked great and it was comfortable and very well-stocked as well, which we appreciated. It really is very charming and we had a wonderful stay. The area is also really nice. There’s a great market nearby, a park, many good reasonably priced restaurants and cafes and a supermarket across the street. There are bus lines and a metro nearby but we wound walking almost everywhere, from the Vatican to the Coliseum, to the Pantheon. The only thing I would advise is to make sure to request your ‘extras’ when you book your reservation. If you want internet access or, I imagine, air-conditioning (we didn’t consider air-conditioning at the time we were coming), you probably need to do that when you make your booking. We were a bit confused about how the ‘extras’ worked and thought we could request and pay for them when we arrived but it turned out they needed advance notice to set them up. So, if you want any of the extras on offer, make sure to let them know when you make your reservation. Otherwise, it was brilliant.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 3 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
