Giovanni Terrace is located in a residential area called San Giovanni which is just behind the Colosseum. You'll be five minutes from the Basilicas of San Giovanni in Laterano and Santa Maria Maggiore. Its in a central location making it ideal for those who like to be independent, using the excellent network of public transportation available nearby (underground, buses, tramway, city train). The metro of San Giovanni is also only 5 minutes walk away.

The apartment is on the 5th floor (with elevator) of a apartment block. As you open the door you're greeted by a bright and spacious apartment with fabulous sliding doors that lead out onto a huge gardened terrace.

The warm and inviting living room leads into a fully equipped kitchen. The double bedroom with queen size bed has a door that leads to the terrace and a large en-suite bathroom with tub and shower.

This apartment is perfect for those people who want peace and quiet in a lovely area of Rome.

The owner is an excellent cook and provides breakfast on request for 10 euros per person.

San Giovanni in Laterano is the head among the four patriarchal churches of Rome; it is the head of all churches throughout Rome and the world. Originally the palace of Constantine, it was later adapted to serve as the church of the Pope. The arch-Basilica was built later on the site of the original church and is known as St. John Lateran or the Lateran Basilica, and is dedicated to St. John the Baptist. The top of the facade boasts huge statues of Christ and the Apostles. In the five-arched portico, there are as many doors, the last on the right being the Holy Door, which is accessible only every 25 years, during Jubilee years. This church has survived two fires and a terrorist attack.
