This holiday apartment in Rome is very quiet, luminous and comfortable. On the upper floor you can enjoy a spacious terrace equipped with table and chairs.

The large living room has a beautiful view over the rooftops of the local area and the private gardens below. It's also offers a dining area with table and chairs, and a comfortable sofa bed for two.

The fully equipped kitchen is separate and the bathroom has a shower. There is also a double bedroom with plenty of storage space.

This short-term rental in Rome is located in an area called Monti - the Colosseum area. For centuries the Colosseum has been a symbol of Rome and is a sight to be believed day or night. Started in AD72 and finished in AD80 it was able to seat 50,000 spectators who came to watch gladiators fight to the death and animals slaughtered for sport. Now it's central to one of the most important historical areas of Rome. You'll be transfixed with the wealth of history and archaeological jewels available to visit here including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and the Domus Aurea.

The areas around the Colosseum are filled with cobbled-stone streets with many of Rome's best restaurants, cafes and bars. You'll also only 20 minutes walk away from Piazza Navona and the rest of the major sights in Rome.

The apartment was in a brilliant location, it made it easy for us to get to all the main sights. The apartment was very clean and spacious and it had all the facilities that we needed. Would recommend this apartment to anyone!

The apartment was just as described, lovely and spacious, excellent air-conditioning (which was a blessing as it was extremely hot in Rome that week) and in a lovely quiet location with lots of restaurants and cafes and only a very short was to the Colloseum. The terrace was an added bonus and lovely to sit out in the evening. The only slight problem was that the housekeeper that met us at the apartment only spoke Italian, so it was quite difficult to get the paperwork sorted out!

Dear Oakley Yes, we all enjoyed our stay in Rome and the appartment was delightful. I would certainly stay in "Colosseum Terrazzo" again. It is in a very central area within walking distance of most of the sights we wished to visit. It certainly kept us fit walking up five flights of steps each day! It was easier without the luggage of course! It was a pleasure to meet Paola. She was very helpful upon my arrival in handing over keys etc. One observation I should like to make however is that we discovered at the end of the four days that the double bed in the bedroom was in fact two single beds which could have been separated as we were three people! I think it is worth mentioning that fact if there are three people who wish to rent the appartment. I hope to visit Rome again next year and will definitely consider "Colosseum Terrazzo" again.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 3 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
