This elegant Rome apartment is located in a quiet, characteristic street in the heart of the old city center, just 50 meters from the Pantheon and near to Piazza Montecitorio, the site of the Italian Parliament, and about 100 meters from Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori.

This Rome apartment is on 4th floor via stairs. It consists of a living room, a double bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The rooms still exhibit the ancient wood coffered ceilings. The living room has a classic-elegant furnishing with an ancient cupboard, two sumptuous armchairs, two sofas convertible in two comfortable single beds, a dining table for 4/6 people, and several paintings. The bedroom provides a king size double bed, a wide wardrobe, a prestigious mirror, etc.

The large bathroom has a nice tub, double basin, bidet and toilette; hair dryer and matching towels are provided. The wide kitchen is equipped by 4 gas burners, traditional oven, fridge, coffee maker and cooking utensils, and a table where you can have breakfast and meals. Finally, the apartment offers 3 balconies opening on the street of historical Roman center.

 

About Rome Pantheon

The Pantheon area in Rome seems to have stood still in time. Made of cobblestone streets, small piazzas and many many gelaterias, anyone staying in this part of the historical center of Rome is bound to love it. The area is close to the Trevi Fountain on one end and the Piazza Navona on the other, so that you are at the epicenter of Rome's must-see sites.

The Pantheon is the only ancient Roman Temple to survive the millennia almost completely intact. It was built by the son-in-law of the emperor Augustus, Marcus Agrippa, who dedicated it to all the gods in 27 BC, but the building attained its present appearance following the renovation ordered by Hadrian between 118 and 125 AD. The portico was embellished with large doors and bronze decorations that survived until the seventeenth century, when Pope Urban VIII Barberini had them melted down to build the baldachin in St. Peter's. Subsequently the Pantheon was restored on several occasions, and is now a church housing the tombs of several kings of Italy and great artists, including Raphael. The dome is the largest to have come down to us from antiquity and was constructed by a single pouring of concrete into a wooden scaffold. It has a beautiful and harmonious decoration of coffers.
