Rome Apartment: Casa Marcus

This vacation apartment in Rome is located on the second floor (no lift) and has been very well refurbished while keeping the atmosphere of a real Roman home. The apartment comprises of spacious living room furnished with a red leather sofa, a wooden table for 8 and a TV set.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you need during your stay. A beautiful stone arch, takes you into the sleeping area that features an entrance with a single sleeping sofa bed, a double bed room and a twin bed room. The twin bed room has two little windows located on the higher part of the wall that look onto the double bed room. The bathroom of the apartment comes with a shower.

The entire apartment has restored wooden beamed ceilings and “cotto” floors. The furniture is typical Italian style.

The vacation apartment in Rome is located at 50 meters from the square of Campo dei Fiori. Within walking distance to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps and all main tourist sites.

Campo Dei Fiori is located in the heart of the Centro Storico, the historic centre of Rome and close to the Jewish Ghetto and Piazza Navona. The Vatican is also just across the river Tiber. This ancient piazza is at the heart of Rome and has become a popular spot for people to hang out to admire wonderful Renaissance and Baroque buildings, street artists, musicians and poets. By day Campo de' Fiori is dominated by a world famous outdoor food market.

By late afternoon a large team of street cleaners have removed any trace of the market and it becomes the lazy hangout for those having a coffee or aperitif in one of the many outdoor bars lining the piazza. In the summer people spill out of the bars into the piazza and it has a party like atmosphere. The area always has a vibrant feel and is home to some of the best restaurants in town.
