This elegant lofted Rome apartment is housed in a beautiful building dating back to the Renaissance which was originally used as Convent. This Rome apartment is located on top of Colle Oppio (one of the 7 hills of Rome) and is in a quiet area with a beautiful park close by. This rental is 200 meters to the Metro (4 stops to Spanish Steps; 3 to Trevi fountain). This apartment is in the center of ancient Rome: 5 min. walk to the Colosseum, Santa Maria Maggiore, Domus Aurea, Imperial Forum, Arc of Costantino, San Giovanni in Laterano.

The whole building and the apartment have been completely restored and furnished by an interior designer. This Rome apartment is 85 sqm and is developed on two levels. The floors are in rich wood throughout and the furniture is a mix of classic and antique.

As you enter this Rome apartment, you'll find yourself in a large living room with a beautiful fully equipped, open kitchen. This area has a gorgeous table for 8, dating back to the 1800, two single sofa beds and two big windows.

Next to the living room is the master bedroom with a queen sized bed and a private bathroom with bathtub.
The second floor is a spacious, beautiful open space with a double bed, a closet and a sitting-area with two single sofa beds (70 cent). Close to the double bed, you will find the second bathroom with a shower.

Started in AD72 and finished in AD80 it was able to seat 50,000 spectators who came to watch gladiators fight to the death and animals slaughtered for sport. Now it's central to one of the most important historical areas of Rome. You'll be transfixed with the wealth of history and archaeological jewels available to visit here including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and the Domus Aurea.

The areas around the Colosseum are filled with cobbled-stone streets with many of Rome's best restaurants, cafes and bars. You'll also only 10 minutes walk away from Piazza Navona and the rest of the major sights in Rome.
