This apartment is in Rome Trastevere which is east of the historical center and on the other side of the River Tiber. It’s one of Rome’s oldest neighbourhoods and certainly one of the most characteristic. Here you’ll find many restaurants and bars located on the cobbled-stone narrow streets of Trastevere. Once home to the Syrian community and then to the Jewish community, Trastevere has slowly and steadily grown into the second biggest Rione (neighbourhood) in Rome. Rich families such as the Farnese settled in amongst populace bringing wealth and giving the area a certain status that had been coveted throughout history. At the heart of Trastevere is Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere which is one of the most beautiful piazza’s in Rome. Visit the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere and admire the faded palazzi while you relax in one of the bars lining the square. Trastevere is also only 10 minute walk to the Centro Storico.

A small and very quiet Rome accommodation with a loft overlooking a lovely living room filled with antique furniture and oil paintings. This apartment in Rome Trastevere area is within walking distance from Pantheon, Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Forum, the Colosseum.

This Rome accommodation is on the 4th floor of a very nice building without elevator. The apartment is cosy and charming, with all modern comforts and very well kept.

This apartment in Rome Trastevere is divided into a living room with double sofabed, satellite TV and a dining area for four people. There's a bathroom with shower and a modern and well equipped kitchen corner. The double bedroom upstairs, on the mezzanine floor.

Casa Bologna is a very cute apartment right in the middle of one of the most fun sections in Rome. The location is perfect and within walking distance of Rome's attractions, wonderful and low priced restaurants, and several shops, including a large grocery store. The apartment was clean and mostly well equipped. The four stars are because we had to go buy supplies like toilet paper and a bar of soap. I would definitely recommend it for two to three people.

(21-07-2006) Very clean property in a very handy and nice location. Property is located on the top floor with narrow stairs, so if you have a suitcase you will need more than one person to carry it up. Close walking distance to all ammenities and tourist sites.
