Grandioso The apartment in Rome is indeed exceptional: having a rooftop flat with large terrace on top of a 15th century renaissance cloister in an almost pedestrianised part of old Rome and from which you can see the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, the Typewriter, the Pantheon,... is very, very special. The service by Amalia is also very very special: e.g. I remarked to her that the showers would be more user-friendly if they had a soapholder attached to the wall; the next morning a workman called to fix a soapholder in each of the 2 showers!

Roma Trastevere This is a charming Rome apartment in the Trastevere area. the 4-floor walk-up is worth it for the roof-top terrace that is a key feature. We enjoyed sipping a glass of wine on the terrace in the early evening listening to the sounds of the streets below. It is a bit small but perfect for 2 and we managed with our teen-aged daughter, too. The owner was extremely helpful and pleasant.
