Buzios is one of Brazil's most popular tourist destinations. It is on a peninsula with over 20 beautiful beaches just 2 hours north of Rio de Janeiro.

Buzios was originally a small fishing village until in the 1960s Brigitte Bardot bought a house there and it became a magnet for the rich and famous.

Buzios is now a sophisticated and cosmopolitan resort. As well as the beaches there are many fine restaurants providing all styles of food. The centre has many very fashionable and interesting shops.

Buzios is also protected from overdevelopment by very strict planning laws that prohibit buildings over two floors high and all must fit with the Buzios style and charm.

Nearby there are several nature reserves for those interested in eco holidays.

The beaches provide fine surfing facilities. You can go boating, sailing or diving. There is a first class golf course. And many other features to make for an unforgettable holiday.

The house is in the area of Geriba, just 150 metres from the famous Geriba beach and a short trip to Buzios centre.
