Santa Teresa is high on a hill with great views to the sea, the bay and the mountains and seems to have stopped in time maintaining, as it has for decades, preserved features of old Rio and a bit of history in each corner.

We are conveniently located 5 minutes from Rio's downtown and business district, where the most important museums, cultural centers, art galleries and historical buildings are, and from the Lapa Arches, home to the samba and the bohemia.

The Corcovado with the Christ's statue, the Maracanã football stadium and the Samb�dromo where the great carnival parade happens, are at only 10 minutes away by car and in about 20 minutes you can reach the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, the Sugar Loaf or the Botanical Garden.
