Vacation Rental Description

Our villa is in a newly constructed gated community of seven villas in the quiet and beautiful village of Assagao in North Goa. The two-storied villa is fully furnished with all necessities for a comfortable stay. The upper story has two spacious (by any standards) bedrooms each with an attached bathroom. Both bed-rooms have queen-size beds with firm mattresses. The upstairs also has a small sitting area that opens out to a covered balcony, which offers panoramic views of a typical Goan countryside-rice paddy fields, palm trees, and hills in the distance. Given the open landscape surrounding the villa, there is always a warm sea-breeze that you can enjoy in the balconies or by opening the bedroom windows. Even though both the bedrooms have air-conditioners, chances are that you will never feel like using them.

There is a third bedroom downstairs with and a/c and an attached bathroom. Downstairs also has an L-shaped, split-level living-dining area, and there is a powder-room between the dining area and kitchen. The living area has a comfortable sofa and chairs where you can watch a 29-inch TV with satellite and a divan that opens out into a double bed. The living-dining area has a heavier capacity a/c unit. The kitchen has the necessary facilities (hot and cold water, water purifier, pots, dinner- and silver-ware for 12 etc.) and appliances (refrigerator, microwave, food processor, toaster, washing machine, tea kettle etc.).

While you are just a few minutes’ drive form many famous Goa beaches (Vagatore, Anjuna, Baga, and others), you can have a quick dip in a swimming pool with crystal clear water that is just a few steps away from the villa. In case you do decide to step out, the night markets and all the other exciting action of North Goa are quite close by.

Finally, for your peace of mind, the community has 24-hour security, and someone to solve any problems with the villa is just a phone call away.

About Retreat Holidays Anjuna

Assagao is a sleepy beautiful village in North Goa approximately mid-way between the city of Mapusa and Anjuna beach. You will be only about 5 km from Anjuna & Vagator beaches and 5 km from Mapusa city. Other attractions including Calangute, Baga, and Candolim beaches and the North Goa “hot-spots” are generally within a 15 min drive. The city of Panjim is approx. 20 km and the airport is about 40 km away.

Assagao is best known for its clean and quiet residential areas with many old Portugese bungalows with their wonderful gardens. These areas are a short walk from the villa. In addition, you can walk on a picturesque road that goes through paddy fields and takes you to the hills that you see from the villa (40 minutes). This walk is a must.
