Bed & Breakfast Description

Tara Firma Inn—Volcano is a bed & breakfast nestled amidst the rainforest in the Village of Volcano, on the Big Island of Hawaii. The village is situated next to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (HVNP), home of Kilauea Volcano. Kilauea has been continuously flowing for more than 25 years. The park offers activities for all levels of adventurer.

About Retreat Holidays Hawaii

Tara Firma Inn-Volcano is 30 miles and 4000 feet up from Hilo. We are only 30 miles from Punalu’u Black Sands Beach. The Volcano Country Club and Golf Course, near the entrance to the HVNP, is open to the public for a round of golf on top of a volcano and fabulous lunch afterwards. The Volcano Winery is located just down the road from the golf course. The Volcano Winery offers special island style wines and fun souvenirs. Also near our bed & breakfast is the Akatsuka Orchid Gardens & Nursery. The orchids are beautiful to see and wonderful to send home.
