Vacation Rental Description

Located in the West Kootenays one-half hour from Nelson, BC, these four new condos are on the Slocan River at Passmore, gateway to Valhalla Provincial Park.

Prepared for your high-quality standards, the four suites are lovely and distinctive, sleeping from four to eight persons each. Very functional kitchens, great sleeping areas, wonderful view decks and patios. .

Restful interiors emphasize spectacular river, mountain, and wildlife views from each window.

About Retreat Holidays Banff

Valhalla Riversuites is located in the narrow Slocan Valley which has attracted several waves of political refugees over the years. A scenic rails-to-trails path follows the valley floor along the river, welcoming locals and visitors to walk, bike, x-country ski, and enjoy the wildlife.

The Slocan River is famous for family-friendly tubing, rafting, kayaking, and fly-fishing. The river and trail are just outside our door.

Still somewhat undeveloped, small eateries and well-done museums dot the area, reflecting the relaxed but thoughtful population.

Miles and miles of uncrowded accessible backcountry is available from our location at Passmore due to rare road access that goes by our door to Valhalla Provincial Park, Airy Mountain, Drinnon Pass. Explore by auto, sled, quad, bike. Cat-skiing and guided snowmobiling available.

One hour to Nakusp Hot Springs, Idaho Peak, Silvery Slocan Museum, Nikkei Memorial Museum.

Twenty-five minutes to Nelson shopping and night-life.
